Weve all heard the controversy about presidential candidate Mitt Romneys faith. Is he a Christian? He claims to be, yet 75 percent of American Protestant pastors disagree with the statement: I personally consider Mormons to be Christians. Wherever you stand, here are the top 10 reasons Christians can never vote for Mitt Romney and they have nothing to do with his Mormon faith.
Romney forced homosexual marriage upon Massachusetts.
When the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court decided in 2003 to recognize homosexual marriage, ignoring the voters and the Constitution, the court admitted it did not have power to issue licenses or force participation by justices of the peace to solemnize the weddings. But as governor, Romney didnt wait for the legislature to act, he just ordered the marriage licenses and weddings to go forward, all by himself. Earlier this month, Romney said in New Hampshire, What I would support [nationwide] is letting people who are of the same gender form if you will partnership agreements. And despite the over 2,500 pedophilia cases now on record involving homosexual Scout leaders, Romney once stated, I feel that all people should be allowed to participate in the Boy Scouts regardless of their sexual orientation.
Romney is pro-abortion. This year hes the only major Republican presidential candidate who has yet to sign the Susan B. Anthony List pledge to defend life and defund Planned Parenthood nationwide. Candidates Bachmann, Perry, Gingrich, Paul, Pawlenty and Santorum all signed the pledge, although it should be noted Herman Cain supports everything in the pledge except the Fetal Pain Act. (Cain is not fully pro-life, either.) And who can forget Mitts famous 2002 campaign debate bragging repeatedly that hes more pro-choice than Ted Kennedy?

Christians must consider this:
Galatians 1:8 But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed.
Galatians 1:9 As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed.
I will not vote for Mitt.
No doubt about that. Not only am I in trouble, the whole country is in trouble.
I don't think that Romney's choices of judges or his foreign policy would be greatly better than Obama's. But they would be better.
Sort of like being poked in one eye instead of being poked in both eyes. Both hurt, one hurts more.
As you said, it's trouble.
I was just thinking about some what-ifs the other day (waste of time, I know). What if Palin had jumped in early, what if Cain had stayed in and fought on, what if Newt and Santorum had formed an alliance. Anything would be better than what we have now.
Because we are voting for a President. He has specific duties, and social policy isnt one of them.
you can post all of the threads you want saying he is the father of gay marriage, but that isnt the issue. The issue is, does he support the Fed involvement in marriage? If he does, then it is a strike.
The other two are just opinions you have on someone who has different views, and result in hyperbole. If I didnt vote for liars and character assassins, I wouldnt vote.
But above all, Christians are smart enough to make up their own mind without you or some website trying to tell them how to vote.
Speaking for God?
Maybe you have noticed, that over last few weeks you are losing your hate-Romney at all cost audience big time. Those seriously thinking voting third party or not voting at all is the path to victory is an ever shrinking number here on FR. And its because that way of logic is ridiculous.
In the end times all you get are bad, unacceptable choices.
Did you vote for GWB?
Then stop whining, suck it up, and pull the lever for mittens...

My reading of Revelation tells me that there is one, not two, anti christs, and having recently left the century dominated by Hitler, Stalin and Mao, calling either Obama or Romney the anti christ is lunacy. So Romney and Obama as anti christ runs counter to my reading. Second, as a Catholic, I do not read Revelation as prophecy for the End Times. I believe the Lord said “The day and the Hour are known only to the father”, and 666 referred to Nero. What I do know is that Obama’s reelection, looking more and more likely, will be made even more likely by people taking the view that the two are equal in the dangers they pose to the Republic.
Thanx for the warning. My only regret is that so many here will follow through on Election day and stay home. Then when we wake that Wednesday our lives may be changed for the worse forever.
I think that’s your issue, personally. But its not the issue that defines a President. The reality is Romney will win the nomination, so do what you will after that.
I did a quick look around and found that Mitt EASILY refutes most of your claims here:

I don’t label myself a Mitt-bot (I’d love to see a Newt/Cain ticket), however, you rabid Mitt-haters doth protesteth too much - imho...
I was thinking of the following passage from 1 Corinthians 3:
(9) For we are God's fellow workers; you are God's field, your are God's building. (10) According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I have laid the foundation, and another builds on it. But let each one take heed how he builds on it. (11) For no other foundation can anyone lay than than which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. (12) Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precioius stones, wood, hay, straw, (13) each one's work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one's work, of what sort it is. (14) If anyone's work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward. (15) If anyone's work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, ye so as through fire. (1 Corinthians 3:9-15)
I do not want to suffer loss in the next world by voting for either of these anti-christs.
Ping for later
Exactly...and we should be far more concerned about that 'next life'...
I see Mitt’s office of propaganda is open for business. This site you mentioned provides information and links to Mitt’s lies. Now Mr. Assault Weapons ban says he has always supported RKBA. According to the Mitt’s Politburo, he completely agrees with George Bush on weapons.
And no matter the truth, Mitt’s little piece of Pravda says his dad really did march with Martin Luther King and I quote from the site, “the question is not whether Romney actually marched with King but whether King and Romney left the impression they had marched together.”
This little snippet I quoted from the website you linked is Romney in a nutshell. It doesn’t matter to Romney that he lies like the devil himself. What matters to him is whether people are left with the impression it happened.
Some people, perhaps even you, have been or will be fooled by Mitt’s spin, but discerning people will see right through his lying, phony self. Anyone looking to be brainwashed into backing Mitt can go the site willing to ignore the truth.
