Trayvon Martin shooter George Zimmerman has apparently launched a website—TheRealGeorgeZimmerman.com—to relay a message thanking his supporters, and to collect donations via PayPal for his living and defense expenses. The site had been down intermittently on Monday afternoon.
"I am the real George Zimmerman," a message on the site begins. "On Sunday February 26th, I was involved in a life altering event which led me to become the subject of intense media coverage. As a result of the incident and subsequent media coverage, I have been forced to leave my home, my school, my employer, my family and ultimately, my entire life. This website's sole purpose is to ensure my supporters they are receiving my full attention without any intermediaries."

I find it hard to believe that several right leaning (make that Constitutional) organizations would not be anxious to join in for his defense. If he really does need help with his defense funds, he alone should make the plea.

It really looks like George Zimmerman was totally justified in his shooting of Treyvon Martin. After reading everything I can find about the event I would have to say that I would also have shot my attacker. George Zimmerman is Innocent.

Combining a PayPal payment with a message: Have a Zimmerman relative confirm in a TV interview which donor site address is the “real” one.

Really don’t know which ones will come to his aid but I have little doubt that they will. When anyone is being railroaded, there are several conservative organizations that usually help.
How do we know the site is legit and funds actually go to George?

It seems that there are a couple of groups that are paying attention. Gun Owners of America and a group out of Tampa is raising funds for him. I don’t believe GOA has gotten that deeply involved but did have a spokesperson defending Zimmerman.
This case is not about Zimmerman; it’s encompassing alot of issues that the left has wanted to reignite: gun control, civil rights, but it’s the 2nd Amendment that everyone on the left will be (is) reactivating. This was just the little incident to help that along. Schmucky is right out there in front.
Funny, the party of death really detests when someone loses their life from their own actions. You’d think they’d celebrate the loss of life. I’m surprise they don’t throw parties at the end of each day when the aborted fetuses are thrown in the dumpster or some old person is duped into ending it all.

I just hope the more organizations step in and support this simply because of the angst against Zimmerman. You are probably right though - send money to help. This may be simply too political for some organizations to get involved - too bad.
This seems to be more a case of Black against White instead of justice according to law. This is becoming more of an issue these days when TV personalities get involved. That just makes me more suspicious of the supposed crime.
