WASHINGTONPresident Barack Obama says the nation can't afford to keep giving tax cuts to the wealthiest, "who don't need them and didn't even ask for them."
Obama is using his weekly radio and Internet address to urge Americans to ask their member of Congress to support the "Buffett Rule," which is named after billionaire investor Warren Buffett, who says he pays a lower tax rate than his secretary.

Does this mean 0bama realizes that government spends too much?
No, the country can’t afford YOU, Hussein!
Warren Buffet?Isn’t he the guy who owes a billion in back taxes??
Logic and critical thinking in our nation is rare indeed. How else can one explain the class warfare rhetoric that is so effective for the left when the wealthy actually pay a lower percentage than the middle class? How else can one explain the most vocal (and wealthy) leftists who pay a lower percentage than the middle class?
Every year, I notice on Turbo Tax the little box that asks if I want to give additional money to Uncle Sugar. Why don’t our superiors check this box?
Ha, they don’t think they spend enough. They’d like far more control over the economy. The reality is the US can’t afford hussein and his cohorts in crime, nor others of their ilk who believe in socialist/fascist/communist control.
Reminds me of that “Holder’s People” Welfare queen holding up her electric bill complainin’ she cain’t pay it and gots to have ‘hep on it.
In the background is her widescreen mega Plasma TV, X-box, electric heater, etc.......(even the AJC photographer thought this was a hypocritical claime and took the shot purposefully).....
So let’s cut spending Homie.
Barry’s All the Rich You Can Eat Buffet Rule again. oy.
When the government gets more money they mostly waste it, the government is notoriously inefficient. They waste and spend on their own expense accounts freely and plenteously ... not a good idea. They do not care about the people.
Watch out you may get what you ask for ...
There are more hard-working, industrious citizens not among the ‘rich’ who “who don’t need them and didn’t even ask for them,” than merits further destruction of the economy with this gimmick...
Like pissing into the ocean.
America can’t afford the criminal enterprise that isthe democrat party.
If Obama wins, he will likely not serve very long
Ok, baraq we’ll take tax cuts for the wealthy off the table, and for that concession we are going to put the whole entitlement payoff scheme on the table.
We are going to cut welfre spending in all forms back to pre-1980 levels.
No, c’mon Baraq......no compromise?
Zer0 will not inform the country just how much increased revenue a tax increase would bring. Zer0’s proposal to increase taxes on the rich will generate $700 billion in extra revenue over the next decade, which obviously translates to roughly $70 billion per year—Zer0 drops in the bucket. And, the consequence of such a tax increase would cost in less investments, more tax sheltering and less jobs.
How did we get these bone heads in there pulling the strings of government?
Our resident took a tax deduction oof $12,000 dollars for each of his kids this year. $24,000 dollars that he gave his children so he could use it as a deduction, but he claims other rich people like himself do not need tax deductions.
He is one gigantic hypocrit.
He also thinks no one else is smart enough to figure out that he is a hypocrit. Liar and hypocrit.
If he’s so worried....Obama should have paid more than the 20.5% on his taxes.
I've see the numbers $40 billion over 10 years.
That's like thinking if you only had an extra 4 bucks, you could make that $400,000 mortgage payment.
The rich aren’t buying much these days.
Where I live (Texas) they seemingly spend as ever they did.
