As far as Sarah Palin goes, you note that she is supporting Romney as an ABO. Haven't you sensed her total lack of enthusiasm for Romney since Day 1 of the campaign? I'm guessing that her schedule will suddenly be full on all the days which Romney would like her to appear with him.

Not true. We are NOT on either train. Both are going to crash. And then in 6 months you will come walking back into town sans all your luggage and we will say “I told you so” in the most firm but charitable way possible and then begin working together opposing ALL that Obama tries to do.

We have a radical, racist Marxist in the WH who hates this country. He was mentored by Frank Marshall Davis, spent 20 years in the church of Rev. Wright who married him and baptized his children, used Bill Ayers and Bernadette Dorhn to launch his political career, employed as a Community Organizer collaborating with groups like ACORN, marched with Farrakhan, and embraced Critical Race Theory and professor Derrick Bell. We know very little about him. No school records. Questionable birth certificate.
And we have some people trying to hand out this happy horsesh*t that Romney is more dangerous to this Republic than Obama. Do they think we are stupid? They can vote for whomever they want, just don't tell us that Obama is the preferred choice over Romney or anyone else who will be on the ballot.
That is the bare truth of the thing.
No Republican has ever won without the Christian Right.
What bothers me about all these 'pragmatic' Republican wonks is that their appeasement is actually STOPPING the rise of a Conservative candidate. That Romney is going to lose is a foregone conclusion - All of this screaming and crying and throwing dust in the air is not gonna change that at all... And every_single_vote for Romney is a vote against Conservative principles and against the rise of a Conservative that everyone could vote *FOR*.

Just like the Civil War 1861-1865 during the RW 1/3 of the country were rebels, 1/3 Loyalists and 1/3 could care less because it wasnt effecting them or their backyard..
Heres the background on my Loyalists...
One family was quite happily busy at work on their farm in Mahoopany on the Susquahanna River in PA (Wyoming Co)
Too busy to be enablers, appeasers, or try to be the very CAUSE of the downfall of liberty...and their lives, religion and politics as FREE ENGLISHMEN enjoying liberty was defensible...
Happy as clams they worshiped God, cleared their 500 acres grew their crops fed and raised their children and helped their neighbors ...
Some of those same neighbors burnt down their homestead and confiscated their land and drove them off..leaving the little children homeless..
The wife joined 4 other Loyalist women who were fleeing for their lives and together unaided and penniless they somehow managed to walk up through PA and NY to Canada bringing their 31 younger children to safety..Some of the children were babes in arms..our youngest was 3..
Then there was the other family on the Mohawk River in NY (Herkimer Co)
The 65 yo widow of a Leatherstocking type hero who was a captain of the Provincial Army and was killed at the Battle of Lake George (September 8 1755) ran the family trading post, enjoyed her grandchildren, and helped her neighbors..both white and Indian..
In 1711 her father had fought in the French Indians Wars also but that made no different to the neighbors who arrested her, her children and grandchildren included my TEN YEAR OLD 4th great grandmother and put them in prison ...
They burnt down that same trading post that had helped supply them to fight the French and the Indians and trapped inside the old lady’s invalid son..
One of the teenage granddaughters of the old lady was raped by the guards and died in that prison...I believe the guards would be called the good guys, the “patriots”
The family managed to escape when the guards heard that General St Leger was coming...

BTW that PA family man was the great grandson of a man who had helped found New Rochelle, NY and who had GIVEN the land for one of the first churches in that city...

The arrests of Loyalists were so numerous that the prisons were overcrowded...
The rebels started using prison ships and whole families INCLUDING CHILDREN were kept in holds resulting in quite a few deaths and bad health...
I guess my Loyalist family could be regarded as lucky they were arrested before the rebels ran out of jail cells in Albany...

Further, how does it make sense to say it violates ones principles and/or beliefs to vote for Romney, and then declare they are going to write in a non-candidate who is actually going to support and campaign for Romney. I mean, where is the logic here?

Yes, I sense that from virtually every actual conservative I know including myself. None of us here wanted Romney. He has no record of being much of a conservative. We don't know what Mitt is exactly, aside from being a successful business person (which is a point in his favor since he at least understands the private sector) and an ambitious politician who is willing to flip flop to remain politically viable. Romney will, however, be beholden to the Republican party and conservatives will at least be able to influence him. Hussein is beholden to the Democratic party and liberals most influence him. Even if Romney is the squish we all worry he is, he is STILL an order of magnitude better than Obama.
And yes, Palin is ABO and she will support and campaign for Romney. I'd agree she will mostly focus on attacking Obama, but she will speak positively about Mitt and strongly encourage conservatives to vote for him. She also specifically said conservative 3rd party voting will only help Obama. Palin wants to help defeat Obama. Period.
