In the last few weeks, President Barack Obama has reached out to military voters with the aim of slicing away pieces of what has been a reliable part of the Republican base.
The most recent Wall Street Journal/NBC poll shows that presumptive Republican nominee Mitt Romney leads Obama among military voters, but by eight percent. That single-digit difference is significant and it follows on the heels of other polls showing Obama performing well among veterans, particularly veterans who served in Iraq and Afghanistan.

It shouldn’t be a complete mystery. People who join don’t shed their ethnicities upon serving. Asians, Blacks and Hispanics account for about 35% of the military. These tend to vote Democratic. Then there’s the usual contingent of white liberals who enlist.

Probably because Romney and his cult are a bunch of cowards who haven't served in generations, missing WW I, WW II, Korea, Vietnam,and more.
I think even the Kenyan in the WH has a brother in law who served, but these Kolobians are way too special to put on a uniform.
You can’t seem to be able to differentiate between someone who hasn’t served, but is patriotic (Romney) vs. someone who actively hates the military and the US and all it stands for (Obama).
The Federal Voting Assistance Program (see FVAP.gov) was developed to help U.S. uniformed military and overseas U.S. citizens vote absentee (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Federal_Voting_Assistance_Program. Difficulty in processing overseas military ballots was cited as a factor in the 2008 election.
I hope the Scytl program isn't going to be brought to bear on it in some way.
