Lady Gaga has canceled her sold-out show in Indonesia over security concerns after Muslim hard-liners threatened violence if the pop diva went ahead with her "Born This Way Ball," promoters said Sunday.
The Islamic Defenders Front said Lady Gaga's sexy clothes and provocative dance moves would corrupt youth in the world's most populous Muslim country.
The group said supporters had bought tickets to the concert and planned to enter and force it to be stopped. It also threatened that thousands of protesters would confront the singer on her way from the airport.
Police had said they would only issue the required permits for the concert if Lady Gaga agreed to tone things down. Instead, she pulled the plug on the show, which had sold out with more than 50,000 tickets.
"With threats if the concert goes ahead, Lady Gaga's side is calling off the concert," Minola Sebayang, a lawyer for concert promoter Big Daddy, told reporters Sunday.
"This is not only about Lady Gaga's security, but extends to those who will be watching her."

If you examine their views, liberals seem to suffer with arrested development and tend to be more like children to young adults in a dysfunctional home.
At some level they know they have gone too far, but no one will call them on it. Instead, society just encourages them to push the limits even father.

I agree—if you want to visit a foreign country, either follow the locals’ basic standards of decency, or, if this would be too unreasonable a sacrifice, stay home. As long as you “do as the Romans do” out of class, not out of fear, there is nothing cowardly or submissive about it.

I am upset when I see a woman wearing a modern headscarf for religious rrasons. Yes, they all suport beheadings and atrocities because they don’t unqualifyingly comdemn their jihadis. Silence implies approval.
To a person of such an enormous ego it must be devastating to be so rejected. Maybe this will wake her up to the harsh reality that the US is very tolerant and the rest of the world is not. Maybe just maybe she will begin to rethink her place in the world and that she is only just another piece of sand on the beach.
I think Lady GaGa should have a special 4th of July performance entertaining the prisoners at Gitmo and to celebrate the 4th prisoners should be given free beer and a pork BBQ. Better still have the performance televised and beamed by satellite to Pakistan, Afghanistan and Iran.
