See?? He knows what he’s doing. He knows exactly what an unfriendly business climate looks like — and he’s putting it in place, because he is a destroyer.

So, is he saying they’d rather invest in a business where the gov’t was skimming 30-50% off the top?

Douchebag. I'd be thrilled if the government only skimmed 20% off the top.

His dad herded goats, he says. We'd all be better off if he followed in his father's imaginary footsteps.

Well, at least the Ghanans don’t have a thieving, multi-trillion dollar, ongoing, openly racist monetary redistribution scheme under the ridiclous guise of “welfare”.

“And that’s why my administration has committed $63 billion to meet these challenges — $63 billion. (Applause.) “

As usual this African insect is “Diamond Jim Brady” with money we don’t have and our children will get to repay.

He says all of this yet does the exact opposite:

As I said in Cairo, each nation gives life to democracy in its own way, and in line with its own traditions. But history offers a clear verdict: Governments that respect the will of their own people, that govern by consent and not coercion, are more prosperous, they are more stable, and more successful than governments that do not.

This is about more than just holding elections. It's also about what happens between elections. (Applause.) Repression can take many forms, and too many nations, even those that have elections, are plagued by problems that condemn their people to poverty. No country is going to create wealth if its leaders exploit the economy to enrich themselves -- (applause) -- or if police -- if police can be bought off by drug traffickers. (Applause.) No business wants to invest in a place where the government skims 20 percent off the top -- (applause) -- or the head of the Port Authority is corrupt. No person wants to live in a society where the rule of law gives way to the rule of brutality and bribery. (Applause.) That is not democracy, that is tyranny, even if occasionally you sprinkle an election in there. And now is the time for that style of governance to end. (Applause.)

In the 21st century, capable, reliable, and transparent institutions are the key to success -- strong parliaments; honest police forces; independent judges -- (applause); an independent press; a vibrant private sector; a civil society. (Applause.) Those are the things that give life to democracy, because that is what matters in people's everyday lives.

Exactly. I have tracked the total cost of regulatory compliance, taxes, permits, etc. seperately for many years in my business. The total 'government added' expense to my business last year was 38.9% of my revenues. I haven't paid myself in almost two years. Each day I find myself contemplating closure more and more.

No, just alternatively a consummately unaccomplished, affirmative-action placemarker mannequin, and a reflexively lying, anti-American RaceMarxist.

20% ??

how about 50%

that’s what i’m forced to pay, under threat of violence, from my own wages as i’m self employed.

it’s just awesome. and what do i get for all that money?

well, umm... military? yes, 20% goes to military.
pay off the debt? not really.. we just pay the interest... with 5% of the budget
ummm... federal roads? yes. 10% of the fed budget goes to infrastructure and govt projects

and what’s the other 65% you ask?

entitlements.

money being ripped right out of your hands and given directly to other people that have no relation to you and, many times, don’t even live in your state.

quality.

“No business wants to invest in a place where the government skims 20 percent off the top”

Nor do we who are employed by those businesses, want our paychecks skimmed by 20% off the top... by government taxes, fines and “mandates”.

BTW, I have a budget, and my employer has a budget, but for the last three, now going on 4 years, the Federal government has not passed a budget.
The money the government operates with, is based on the money I, and my employer pay, via taxes.

What's up with that, President Obama, elected Senators, elected Representatives of the House, and the appointed for life judges of the Supreme Court?

Couldn’t you give a little more context than this. I refuse to go to that site. And I wouldn’t think a site we are paying for could complain about excerpting
