Vanity: Bohner Should go to the Fed. Courts to have 0bamacare Declared Null and Void NOW
6-29-12

Posted on 06/29/2012 5:28:36 AM PDT by FrdmLvr

Because 0bamacare was declared "Constitutional" by SCOTUS through the the funding mechanism, which was a tax according to Roberts, it should be deemed null and void on the grounds it did not originate in the House. Bohner should take this to the federal court immediately. Precisely because it WAS declared a tax, for that reason alone, it should have been found unconstitutional. Comments?

You will get only a symbolic vote on the 11th of July to overturn this evil. It will do nothing and it is purely a political gesture before an election. The only way to get rid of this crap is by NULLIFICATION. Go study what Jefferson said about it and how to use it. We will not win or win enough to overturn this in the Senate. We may lose the entire election... we may not... but nothing will happen to this law in a legislative solution.

House repeals, 51 Senators repeal, President signs repeal bill.

Make that 60 votes in the Senate. Unless you can get cloture the 51 will never get to vote.

Every member of Congress who voted for this bill should be hounded by constituents for passing a huge tax bill and being too dumb to know it was a massive new tax or simply did not read the bill and voted for it anyway. Nancy Pelosi was right ..Congress had to pass the bill to know what was in it.

I am considering wasting the electrons to e-mail Sen. Tim Johnson (Dolt-SD)and ask him why he voted for a massive new tax. I am sure my reply will be that Obamacare is so wonderful it is worth the cost or similar BS.

How many votes did Ried have to pass it originally? Could the same number of votes be used to reverse this tax bill?

...but this has been said every single election since at least 1992 that I am aware of.

You're exactly right! I was telling my wife this last night. I know what we can do to change the course for the better; what I don't know is how to get the people to actually do it.

People will complain they don't like Congress, etc. but will vote to send the same statist and status quo types back time after time. The revolution that many FReepers claim they want is available at the ballot box every two years! Every member of Congress is up for election and 1/3 of the Senate!

We the people can send a strong message by voting these bums out. If the next set does the same things vote them out. Sooner or later someone will get the message.

One FReeper send a message to his congresscritter on a particular bill and said something like ‘if you vote for that bill, it is a vote to go home’. If EVERYBODY did this, we would get control back. We only contact these people when it is something inmportant & then it’s too late - they know there are no consequences if they ‘do their thing’ & not the will of their constituents.

Look at the election of 2010 & how voting out so many jerked the Dems up short .... this election, quite a few are choosing to stay home & work on their re-elections & stay away from the Obummer circus. The Tea Party is having an effect by trying to primary the old RINOs - even if not successful, at least the RINOs are paying more attention if nothing else. If we called our congresscritters once a week say, to tell them good job or hey, I am a voter in your district and THIS is how I expect you to vote, or I will send you home I think we would see a difference. We elect these people and then turn them loose to do as they will - not working. People have to be ‘resolved’ to be involved - I guess we’ll find out in November if enough folks make that choice.

Horse manure is great fertilizer; dogsh*t, not so much. We could always send Fleet Enema thingys to those corrupt DC scum, to help dislodge their empty heads from their ‘dark & remote regions’.
