PITTSBURGH (AP) -- A former FBI employee who retired due to post-traumatic stress disorder linked to time spent as a liaison between law enforcement and families of United Airlines Flight 93 victims has written a book about seeing legions of angels guarding the site after the hijacked airliner crashed on Sept. 11, 2001.
Lillie Leonardi was a Pittsburgh-area police officer before working for the FBI.

My thoughts were along the same lines. She was apparently protected from seeing the evil that was also there.
April 6th, 1992, my first child (a daughter) was born. I was in the delivery room with my wife and then later that day, while my wife rested, went to the "fishbowl" to see my little girl. While I was standing there looking through the glass at my daughter, an older lady (I was 27, she was probably in her mid-to-late 50s) walked up on my left side. She asked which baby was mine and I pointed her out. We had a typical conversation about babies and being a new parent. I'll never forget when she said, "You'd die for her, wouldn't you?" It was at that moment the enormity of being a parent hit me and the love I truly felt for my new little girl overwhelmed me. I turned to respond to the woman and she was gone. I mean literally gone.
Did I see and talk with an angel that day? I'm convinced I did.

If she’s a government employee, no doubt she did and is likely collecting post-traumatic stress disorder benefits like so many other government employees do...They just busted a government fire fighter who claimed multiple work injuries, was getting paid while off work and now he’ll be collecting his gold plated government retirement benefits. While off work due to work injuries he was found on YouTube fighting in the ring at several MMA events.

Sam Kinison died from injuries sustained in a car crash. According to his wife, he was pulled out of the car and seemed to be looking at something beyond the people trying to help him with his injuries. He started talking to someone who wasn’t there and then he died.

My brother-outlaw, who was an athiest, seemed so curious about this and didn’t express disbelief.

I’ve never seen an angel, but I’m as sure as anyone can be that one intervened in my life and spared me from almost certain death in a freak car accident.

If I read correctly, and I don’t guarantee that, she was retired due to PTSD before she went public with having seen angels.

On a later DVD, a good friend of his gives a more detailed account. Can’t remember the name. Maybe “The Sam Kinnison Story?”
Perhaps they are. The ability to discern angels is not a gift to hold or treat lightly, and the downside is that one also can discern the agents of the opponent.
Anybody who has been blessed with the company of angels and spared the horror that is awareness and ever proximity of the enemy is lucky.
The Fed could be pulling a scam. But knowing the sh*t you have to put up with from demons once that door has been opened is not something the average person ever wants to deal with.
Perhaps the angels had been there for the entire episode, not just the aftermath. It could be believed they had been guarding the souls of those who took down that plane in order to save America from a much worse catastrophe. Can't think of a much more dramatic episode in which the help of angels might be needed.
That plane was headed for the capital and/or White House. Can you imagine the horror if it had succeeded in crashing into the capital and potentially killing many of our leaders? America has largely forgotten the episode, but this and all of 9/11 is going to be more widely remembered later after Obama and his revisionism leaves power.
If there were angels at that site, there's a good God sent them in a few hours earlier than the point at which this lady says she saw them, while the plane was still in the air. Later perhaps they were just hanging around keeping the site sanctified for use as a memorial which it has indeed become and from what I hear it is now a very meaningful one. Yes, it may sound weird, but if you believe in the Bible there really are such things as angels and they do intervene in earth's affairs from time to time. What better time than the potential destruction of America on that day of Evil?
What if they have angels protecting them also?
I've often felt that I have been blessed by an angel who has watched over me and kept me safe when I should have died from my own stupidity a long, long time ago.
Many many year ago, for example, I found myself stuck in the Port Authority Bus Station in NYC for the night. About 3:00 am the Port Authority police threw me out on the street. As I walked around the outside of the Port Authority, I was surrounded and harassed by a gang of really nasty toughs. I was certain that they were about to beat me to death and steal the little that I had, when all of a sudden a black man with a white beard and hair, wearing a long white coat appeared out of nowhere, grabbed me by the arm and said "follow me." He lead me into a dark alleyway and when I looked over my shoulder, I saw the gang following us. All I could think was that this guy was part of the gang and that he was was setting me up for the beating of my life in a place where my body may not be found for days. He said, "don't look back" and "trust me" and just as the gang was within arms reach, he pulled me into an opening in the exterior wall of the building (I don't recall a door, but there must have been one, right?) and then down a dark corridor where he pushed open a door (this door I remember) that led directly to the front entrance to the Port Authority where there were several police officers watching the and early morning commuters. As we entered the brightly lit area, I heard my friend say, "you have to have faith," and when I turned to thank him, he was gone without a trace as if he was there to begin with. But I know he was. I am certain he was an angel.
