Looks like Romney DOES disagree the court's decision. What he actually said.
Boston Herald ^

Looks like the Herald got busted for not showing Romney's whole interview at first. She even said in the video they only posted part of it.

Romney did NOT agree at any point with Roberts and the Court majority.

But you need more than a 5 second attention span so you can actually listen to the whole thing.

The commie fifth column media just doing its assigned job of lying for the globalist masters. To steal a phrase from Jaws, ‘You’re gonna need a bigger guillotine.’

I heard his statment and agree. Basically he said he disagreed with the ruling but we are stuck with it. Sometimes listening to the people on tv drives me crazy. They only hear what they the want to.

Ignore the Herald’s blatant attempt to make it look like he agreed with the Majority. (Their attempt is obvious in the title on the video). Romney states clearly that he agreed with the dissent.

We conservatives need to stop getting suckered in by liberal media trying to drive a wedge in between us.

I remember the days at Free Republic where we actually held each other accountable for not looking for what was actually said or done by the subject of a news report.

The right needs to always have a second camera or recorder going when ever our side speaks. Instead of only attacking the left or doing nothing, we need to start a full on attack of the media. Once the general population sees the smoke and mirrors that are being used, I feel that they will stop listening - IMO it is already starting to work.

So Romney’s adviser has said Romney will not repeal obamaCare, muddled up the ruling by saying one thing that Romney supposedly disagrees with, Romney spends time refuting what his own staff says - why does he keep the guy on staff?
Normally you have people advising you who you already agree with. What’s the game Romney is playing? Is this guy saying what Romney actually believes, gauges public reaction and if it is against the statement comes out with a new one?

And he was with Senator Kelly Ayotte.... hmmm... I called Palin in 2008 when very few on here were talking about her... maybe... just maybe. She’s definitely more conservative than he is.

It is amazing with some on FR. They claim the MSM is bias yet they turn around and quote papers like Politico, the Hill, The Atlantic, and one freeper actually posted a column by Dana Milbank to trash Boehner.

It’s called “Romney realised after the fact that walking back overt opposition to ObamaCare wasn’t playing well with the people he needs to vote for him to get elected, so he’s walking back the walkback until *after* he gets elected.”

He could do worse than Sen Ayotte. I'd be good with that choice.

He said this on the CBS Evening News on the 4th of July, a venue where only hospital patients and elderly shut-ins were watching. This campaign’s gotta get their heads in the game.

Romney should very public FIRE THIS ASS from his staff

REPEAL REPEAL REPEAL should be the mantra for GOP

Then, if they don’t do it... we break out the torches and pitchforks

"he’s walking back the walkback until *after* he gets elected."

Your hatred for Romney is causing you to make up things that are not happening. Why don't you stick with actual statements and facts, and not dream up things that aren't factual.

I think the fact that people on FR do that is useful. I don’t think that people who post these articles here are agreeing with them (in fact, knowing FR, I highly doubt it).

But since I refuse to buy the NY Times, Washington Compost, Miami Herald (our local rag) and the others, I can find the “wheat” of what they are doing here, without having to wade through the “chaff” (i.e., crap). Plus some very reasoned discussions (usually).

How often does the NY Times present contrary (to them) opinions?

If you’re gonna hate on Romney, do NOT go against him on basis of what the Regressive Leftist media SAYS he says.

Romney does not need to address this issue or any others as long as his very simple message about the very poor Obama economy is working so well.

With Rasmussen, Romney is consistanly up by 4% or so, with Obama below 45%. The recent CNN poll showing Romney up by 8% in the 15 Battleground states is another huge negative for Obama.

This election will be a referendum about Obama. It’s not about Romney. Trying to attack every possible issue could backfire and Romney seems content to keep doing what’s working. I agree.

It is the "Principled Conservative Brigade". The same yoyos who think the Second American Civil War will be cool and fun!

If they can't get everything they want and right now, they will trash any efforts to get part of it.

We can expect them to "sit on their hands and send the GOP a strong message" and then hold their breaths until they turn into Smurfs.

Any position Romney Takes feels like a “wet finger in the wind to see which way the wind is blowing” type of decision....
