They tried to use the death of Russ Carnaham in Missouri to win a Senate seat...
They tried to use the death of Osama Bin Laden to transform the Kenyan into a badass...
They are trying to use the deaths in Aurora yesterday to advance their gun control agenda.
And in possibly the worst display of ghoulish political opportunism they treid to use the death of Paul Wellstone to get John Kerry elected at the Wellstone Memorial Pep Rally.
I would like to see ONE reporter ask the question to Politico, Media Matters, Bloomberg and the rest...
"What is it about you that makes you feel comfortable using the deaths of others to advance your political agenda?"

Trying to make political hay out of innocent deaths: George Stephanapoulas (sp?)announced on ABC News that Tea Partier, James Holmes, was the Aurora theater shooter. Turns out that that James Holmes was age 52 (the shooter 24) and had nothing whatsoever to do with the massacre. The falsely accused Mr. Holmes has had to change his phone number after getting death threats from leftist fanatics.
The Wellstone memorial was an attempt to get Fritz Mondale into Wellstone’s vacated seat.
Don’t forget the funeral for Senator Wellstone. They was deeply politicized by the ghoulish left.
This "journalist" ran a daily body count of US Soldiers and Marines KIA while GWB was President, but she somehow didn't feel the need to continue after Hussein Obama was elected.

With all due respect to your thesis, the neurons required to connect these anomalies together, to perceive the alleged paradoxes or hypocrisies, are simply too far apart. Or perhaps do not exist in the first place.
We have “our” issue, and it hits people in their stomachs and in what they have to do to feed same, and how they have to live. It’s the broken economy, and nobody needs to be convinced or argued into anything over it. All are being hit.

Ross is getting some good replies back to his inanity. Such as “How many mental health facilities?” If I had time I would log in and ask him why only one person in a crowded theater had a gun (and he was the bad guy) if Aurora is overloaded with guns?
I totally and seriously agree with that, Leni. When I first heard about F & F being originally a tool for enacting more gun control, I said, "This is stupid. Just wait for the next fool that shoots up a place. It's bound to happen." That way you don't have blood on your hands, you're just a shady opportunist.
