That doesn’t surprise me. Romney is boring.

Agree. Rubio would have been a serious mistake.

Ryan is a great choice.

No, it isn’t. Votes are what they are - they don’t magically turn into something else. A non-vote doesn’t help or hurt anyone. Votes for Romney don’t “cancel out” votes for Obama, and votes for third parties don’t count positively for anyone except the third party candidate.

wouldnt that be fun to watch Ryan versus Clinton

Clinton's the conventional wisdom, but, I don't know...

The Clintons and Obama do not get along. The Clintons haven't forgotten the 2008 campaign. They don't forget, period. I'm not sure Obama want's to open that door.

Totally disagree. It would be an admission that he is a weak leader.

Comparing Kid Rock to Bob Seger is like comparing Ripple to Dom Perignon

================
...It's a Mystery
How they con us
How they sneak til
They're upon us

All the anchors
With their helmets
Getting ratings
With their zealots

All the pundits
All the salesmen
Selling snake oil
To the nation...

==============

---Bob Seger - "It's a Mystery"

Yep.

And I don't think he'd buy anything from a Mysterious Myth cult, either.

Algore would disagree with that.

Thanks - I knew it sounded like a movie, just couldn’t place it. “Air Force One” is scored by Jerry Goldsmith, who has quite an impressive resume going back to the ‘50s

That’s a great choice of songs, btw -

I can’t figure out who this pick scares more: the nuts over at DU or the anti-Romney circle-jerkers here at FR. Hilarious.

Algore has been knwon to disagree with himself. He probably runs up to icebergs screaming, “Melt before I’m wrong again!”

This was not the running mate willard wanted.I think he wanted McDonnell. But McD has not been able to deliver Va. The location does 2 things: it provides a tacit acknowledgement to a Virginia Problem and it gives a mild snub to McD as this is in his backyard.

I would have loved Sarah Palin as President,

But Romney is 10,000 times better than Obama, I hate Romneycare but Obamacare is 1000 times worse and stupid freepers can’t tell the difference.

Obama hates America, Romney loves America.

Rush, Levin ,Hannity, Palin, etc all want Romney.

Reagan, once he became a Republican, supported every GOP Presidential Candidate,Nixon(Who supported prices freezes) Does any freepers think Reagan would not vote for Romney over Obama?

I can see Biden being replaced by Hitlery. What say you?
Her grind dance may have sent them scrambling for a different choice. Can you see that video being played over and over until November? (((((shudder)))))

I think that was the plan all along...
that dance brings her closer to the people - don’t ya know..

Just want to put my two cents in.

Paul Ryan is a brilliant, fantastic, magnificent, amazing, stunning, game changing, astonsihing pick.

I did not expect this.

I did not expect this at all.

Masterful move, Mr. Romney, masterful move.

Now I believe you are serious.

[ Where does he stand on the issues of social conservatism whose neglect perverted and corrupted our culture - and the global financial infrastructure along with it? ]

He’s a social conservative. He’s a pro-life Catholic and supporter of traditional marriage.
