Obama will try to upstage GOP convention with campaign stops

President Obama regards the week of the Republican convention as “precious time” to campaign, his spokeswoman told reporters to explain why he will not “lay low” that week, as is customary for incumbent presidents.

“We know that this is a close election and we need to compete for every vote that we can compete for,” Obama campaign spokeswoman Jen Psaki said on Air Force One today. “And that’s one of the reasons the President will be spending some time on the campaign trail the week of the Republican convention.”

Psaki was responding to a reporter who had noted that “Traditionally, Presidents kind of stay low during the opposition’s conventions” and asked, “Is he trying to steal some thunder next week with his own campaign trips?”

She denied that his anticipated campaigning is an attempt to steal Romney’s thunder. “We know that there will certainly be a lot of attention paid to the Republican convention just like there will be to the Democratic convention the week we have it,” Psaki said. “But we’re not going to give up any precious time or precious time with voters when we have it.”

The most petty President in history. Everyday that goes by, he gets smaller and smaller.

Hey I am not even voting for Romney. However, I saw the writing on the wall back in 2012 when the tea Party became reality. Those of us who are tea party members have not gone away, we have just gotten angrier. All that anger has festered and like a real bad zit, it’s ready to pop.

I remember the “70”s, and I remember being in the service when carter was elected. I also remember how bad things were when I finished my tour and needed a job. There were none to be had. Eventually thing got better, fact is they got real good for America, thanks to Reagan. So for the next 30 years I noticed how people forgot how bad things were. New generations came along and they claimed that the end of the business cycle was at hand.

So ever since the mid “90”s I have been telling those who not only thought the good times would never end, but they had no clue of how bad things were. I would tell them how I put in applications at businesses from Monday morning to Friday afternoon when I got out of the service. I never received one call for an opening. I was young, married, and I had three children I needed to care for.

Unemployment was all I had, but thank God it snowed a lot that winter, and I found myself paying rent and buying groceries with money I earned from shoveling snow. I did anything I could, and I was thankful to any one who would hire me, even for an hour. Then A man named Reagan came along and he was going to take on Carter, a man no one liked except the media and leftists. These people by the way tried to convince the voters that the bad economy was Nixon’s fault.

Reagan was behind by almost 20 point at this time in 1980, and everyone was saying he is toast and carter will breeze to a second term. Well, Reagan won, and the rest is history.

Now we have a country that is in worse shape than it was in the “70”s. Many of Obama’s supporters including the media wants us to think it is all bush’s fault, but human nature is to blame the man sitting in the Oval Office. We have a president that no one likes, except the media and the leftists. Again people are saying that the current president will win a second term.

Romney is already ahead of Obama in nationwide polling. In swings states Romney leads, in states Obama carried Romney is tied, and now they have become the new swing states.

Consider these facts when thinking of November.

56% of Independents voted Republican in the 2010 off year election, things are worse and Obama is more arrogant. So if anything changes it will be more Independents pulling the lever for the republican nominee regardless of who it is.

40% of the young voters are pulling for Romney, the other 60% may not even show up at the polls.

25% of blacks wanted someone else to run for the Democrat ticket. I am guessing that while they will probably not vote for Romney, they will just not vote at all. This will be disastrous for down ticket white Democrats who have grown accustomed to the black vote keeping them in Washington.

Almost 50% of Senior Citizens voted republican in 2010, even more are unhappy with Obama now, and they like Ryan’s plans.

I could go on and on, but those are the 4 categories that a Democrat candidate needs to hold with big numbers to win the presidency.

Romney will win, and big. Let us thank God he chose Ryan as his mate. Imagine if Reagan had chosen Kemp instead of Bush. When Romney is finished we will be moving to the right, not the left.

I am a realist, not a wishfull thinker.
