Hi RG! Hope Isaac didn’t leave a bad path on the beautiful FL Keys or cause you ongoing heartache.

FChuck wasn’t snarky? That surprises me .. could it be he was really taken aback by the credibility and success of this convention?

I’m praying ... praying there are elections. Don’t put one thing past the monster at 1600.

Obama === GE/Comcast/MSNBC/NBC/CNBC/Weather Channel .. all in O’s back pocket, scheming for him, spouting the O propaganda. MSNBC IS the sewer network .. I think NBC and CNBC are the only parts of that group that CAN act sane, tho they can veer off into lib dimentia.

On December 3, 2009, after months of rumors, a deal was formally announced in which Comcast would buy a stake in NBC Universal from GE.[6] Under the agreement, NBC Universal is 51% owned by Comcast and 49% by GE. Comcast paid $6.5 billion cash to GE.

The deal includes a provision under which Comcast must contribute $7.5 billion in programming including regional sports networks and cable channels such as Golf Channel, Versus, and E! Entertainment Television.

GE used some of the funds, $5.8 billion, to buy out Vivendi’s 20% minority stake in NBC Universal.[6] Under the terms of the deal, Comcast reserves the right to buy out GE’s share at certain times, and GE reserves the right to force the sale of their stake within the first seven years.[6][27] Vivendi completed the initial transaction on September 27, 2010, selling a $2 billion stake to GE (approximately 7.66%).[7]

U.S. regulators approved the proposed sale on January 18, 2011 with conditions. Comcast would have to give up NBC control over online video site Hulu, and ensure NBC Universal programming is available to competing cable operators.[28]

On January 26, 2011, Vivendi sold its remaining shares in NBC Universal to GE, giving GE complete control of the company ahead of the completion of the sale of 51% of the company to Comcast on January 28, 2011.[29] Comcast and GE formed the joint venture holding company NBCUniversal, LLC. NBC Universal, Inc. became a wholly owned subsidiary of the holding company and was renamed as NBCUniversal Media, LLC.[30]

Boehner was obviously drunk when he did the closing. It was the absolute antithesis of the temperance, prudence, and moderation Romney had just pitched, effectively stepping on a speech they needed to be an unqualified success. Instead, Boehner appeared the corrupt boorish corporate fat-cat that swing voters despise in the GOP. It was almost cartoonish.

He should be canned, immediately.

“The sad truth is that equality of opportunity doesn’t exist in many of our schools. We give some kids a chance, but not all. That failure is the great moral and economic issue of our time. And it’s hurting all of America. I believe we can meet this challenge.”

Bush received a standing ovation from the crowd of more than 4,000 delegates at the Tampa Bay Times Forum. His appearance came at a convention at which his older brother, former President George W. Bush, was barely mentioned. But Jeb didn’t overlook him.

“And my brother, well — I love my brother,” Bush said. “He is a man of integrity, courage and honor. And during incredibly challenging times, he kept us safe.”

Praise the Lord .. SOMEone thanked him. How quickly they forget. God bless you, Jeb. Yes .. thank you dearly, President George W. Bush, for keeping us safe against all odds.

I think that they were trying to get Palin to do the VP speech and she just couldn’t bring herself to do it. I saw a little bit of her interview with Hannity tonight and she looked and sounded a lot better.

Not being negative...I adore Paul Ryan and his lovely wife and family. I am just passionate about fashion so will always look at a person’s clothing. Her outfits were nice...they just didn’t wow me. :)
