The Israeli ambassador to America, Michael Oren, has released a statement rebuking the chair of the Democratic National Party.
Earlier today, Phil Klein reported:
Democratic National Committee chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz claimed on Monday that Israel’s ambassador to the United States has accused Republicans of being “dangerous” to Israel by criticizing President Obama’s record.
The Florida congresswoman made the charge at a training session for Jewish Democrats held by the Obama campaign here at the Democratic National Convention, aimed at teaching Jewish Democrats how to convince their fellow Jews to vote for Obama.
Much of the session, which featured a string of speakers from the Obama campaign, was devoted to defending Obama’s record on Israel. During her talk, Wasserman Schultz said that Republicans, who “can’t get anywhere with our community on domestic issues” instead “do everything they can to lie and distort and mischaracterize this president’s stellar record on Israel.”
Ambassador Michael Oren just released this statement: "I categorically deny that I ever characterized Republican policies as harmful to Israel. Bipartisan support is a paramount national interest for Israel, and we have great friends on both sides of the aisle."
Hey, since the ‘Rats are ok with slinging that Nazi label around, I’ll just say that if Josef Goebbels had any love children, Wasserman Schultz just might qualify as one.
She’s already pointed out that it doesn’t matter if what she says is actually true. Get over it!
I am not Jewish, but it would shame me to the very roots of my being if I ever LIED about Israel and then was publicly REBUKED by The Ambassador!
But I am sure Debbie has no shame.

They should have finished his quote there. Otherwise it's misleading. :o)
I don’t understand why this lie is even plausible. Why would an Israeli ambassador say that Republican criticism of Obama is dangerous? What would be dangerous to Israel from such criticism? That a Republican administration would be less pro Israel than Obama? That makes no sense.
Debbie Wasserman Schultz: Evil, deranged, and immoral. A horrible example of “God’s chosen people.”
Every time Debbie Wasserman Schultz opens her mouth it is a few more thousand votes for the GOP.
If this women ever spoke the truth her hair would probably catch on fire!
I pray she loses her election this year. Her opponent must be using this to the fullest extent possible to bury her in the polls and in the election.

We may be sure the Chairman's pronouncement coincides 100% with Obama's view, unfortunately.
