The event was sponsored by Quinnipiac University's School of Communications.

Who do I think is going to win the White House? There are 46 days until we vote. Predictions are perilous and my track record is not particularly good in making predictions.

But folks, Barack Obama is going to win.

And I don't say that-- (Applause.) I don't say that just because Mitt Romney is running an inept campaign, which he is.

He made a very maladroit statement on the Middle East; his 47% on the dole, et cetera.

You now hear backstage rumblings from prominent Republicans that have basically written him off.

This are my questions:

What is going to happen if Romney wins?

Will the inner cities erupt in violence after hearing for months that Obama leads in the polls and has this in the bag?

Will they be claiming another “hanging chad/Republican stolen” election?

Will Obama and Hillary refuse to leave the White House until Holder investigates the alleged voter fraud?

Is this why Homeland security and other non-traditional agencies are ordering up all this ammunition (they expect Obama to lose and consequently riots)?

“Telepromptering” is not campaigning, promising more handouts is not campaigning, sucking up to unions, Islam, and the media is not campaigning, it’s Chicago mafia politics, at best.

Romney's campaign is not self-destructing. Romney is smart with money and his team knows how to hit hard with ads.

Romney can and should win this, but he will have to take command of the debates from the start and keep a good humor, while going for the Marxist's throat and his plethora of failed policies in no uncertain terms.
