Well, I’m with all the other talking heads: Mitt Romney won this debate. Barack Obama lost it. I mean, he got his butt kicked. It was, in fact, one of the most inept performances I’ve ever seen by a sitting President.

But I must admit, once again, to being mystified: Did the President send out his body double tonight? Because if that was the actual Barack Obama out there, I’m not sure he can communicate well enough to be an effective President in a time of trouble, to say nothing of winning a second term.

Obama did try to say that the ‘15 panel members’ would be ‘health professionsls, doctors, etc.
EVERYTHING I have read says that this panel of 15 will be bureaucrats—no health professionals allowed!!.

I must object to your addition to the title.
They are no more turning on Obama then we turned on Bush when he blew it in the first debate against Kerry, in many of the same ways. They will continue to try and carry him over the finish line. I don’t think it will work, and unlike Bush, Obama really has nothing he can do to make the next two debates significantly better.
Joe Klein is a member of the liberal elite. He has access to Democrats like no other liberal. This guy is a major water carrier for the liberals. In fact he may be the one who hires the water carriers. This article of his is a rant like I have never read by him before.
