Obama's Rope-a-Dope?
Original Content | 10/04/12 | Jdsteel

President Obama may not be as skilled an orator as he is thought to be by the media, but he is not as inept as he came across in the first debate. I believe he purposefully stumbled. The stammering, the lack of focus, at one point bumping the microphone were in my opinion a carefully constructed act. I believe he is trying to set the stage for a knock-out punch to his opponent in the next debate. From now until then the media will focus on Obama and his need to have a strong showing. If I am right the question is will Romney be prepared?

Anyone who's paid attention the last four years knows that Obama off-teleprompter is just as you described -- stumbling, stammering, lack of focus. It wasn't a purposeful act; it was simply Obama off-teleprompter.

After what has happened in Benghazi Libya, that has all been forgotten and can’t be used for scoring points...

The problem is that Obama doesn’t understand the policies that he supports. He isn’t a leader, he’s a glorified community organizer and mouth piece for the most radical elements of the Democrat party, a mouth piece. Marco Rubio said it last night on Hannity, Obama doesn’t understand tax theories and economics, he just doesn’t get it. Everything is political to Obama and that is all he knows.

For sure the so called undecideds (as picked by Gallup, LOL) will dumb down everything, maybe someone will come dressed as a clown........

Watching what Romney did last night with Lehrer (a faux non partisan), I have a bit more confidence he will be able to say what needs to be said.

We shall see.

The matter of the fact of what happened at the debates last night is that the real face of Obama has been shown to the world for all the world to see that the Media has carefully crafted in these last 4 years to hide.

" If so, it’s a very ill-advised strategy "

That's assuming that the Romney team does not know how this game is played....
It assumes that Romney is wet behind the ears and is green in running for president.
Romney and his team is under no illusions that they should underestimate what Obama, Obama's team, and the MSM could be capable of and the dirty tricks they could pull.
I do believe Romney and his team have already thought this through and have prepared for it.
The other side of bad judgement of underestimating your opponent is giving them to much credit...... keeping a balance is the key.

" He has had HIS ego fluffed up his entire life, HE is the one that was overconfident " .......

BINGO !! he was so over confident that he felt he didn't need to prepare for the debate.

Maybe if he lays off the crack pipe long enough to let his brain get back to normal stupid.... But no, like or hate Mitt, he is Obama’s intellectual superior. Last time around, Obama was up against someone who was more of a halfwit than himself, and that was before Obama spent four years hardwired to his teleprompter.

As we speak, liberal teams surrounding future moderators are scheming on ways to prop up their dummy in the next debate. Look for Obama to lose his feminine foot twisting behind the podium, and for him to look forcefully into the camera, but there is little time to put manliness and intelligence into his brain, especially if Kerry is the best he has to train him.

" I think we saw the real Obama last night. No wonder we have never seen his college transcripts. "

We will see them in a mad rush to get those collage transcripts released now to prove that he's smart.... lol..

That line of thinking is like the old line “...and then in a masterful stroke, I ended the fight by jamming my nose firmly between his teeth.”

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.
He got trounced, fair and square.

" you know I think the poster as well as many of us are stunned and cannot believe what happened last night. It was so fine to see O exposed , something I was afraid would never happen. "

It is hard to believe that the army of protectors will allow this to happen and it makes me fear what they will do to resurrect this lame dunce, this mean, small malevolent man. "

Just like the character in the movie: A Face in the Crowd where his true nature and true self was exposed and his mask off when he was saying things about the public not knowing that there was a live microphone broadcasting every word he saying that the people were stupid.
The movie, starting Andy Griffith shows the rise and fall of the TV star phoney.

Obama had the oratory commitment to keep up an endless talking point loop, yet the talking points were in opposition to the results of his policies.

He was in lalaland, as if it never occurred to him that people who are living the nightmare of his policies, were watching. Or even that his policies have consequences. Bizarre. How many seeing him talk about supposed tax cuts for the middle class, were yelling at their TVs, shouting, "You f'n ********, you lowered my taxes all right, because I no longer have a job!"

Same with Obamacare... he was mouthing platitudes about lowered costs and better care, but people in the real world - the ones watching him take credit - have had their premiums go through the roof or their coverage dropped. There he was, yapping on about the greatness of Obamacare.

His pathetic, wimpering closing statement was pretty much, "Oh vote for me anyway, oh please?"

He's completely detached from reality. He won't deal with the cognitive dissonance rationally, because he's irrational.

He is going to try to pull something.

The pr!ck’s ego would not allow him to perform a “rope-a-dope” act purposefully.

Quite simply, from the beginning, he has been advertised and sold at a level far beyond anything he can produce or achieve.

The election isn’t over. It is quite likely that people will die in foreign countries, perhaps even here in America, to try to re-establish a level of “mojo” that was all hype to begin with.

Anyone, or any animal, wounded can be dangerous. And, “he” has been wounded.

Yup.... it gives the MSM plausible deny ability.

I even saw a news article here on FR about CBS reporting about the cover up of Benghazi gate..... RUT ROH !

Watching the MSM jumping ship should be a good indicator that they are trying to save any creditability they have left.

“I can’t be the only person thinking this throughout the debate.”
An October Surprise...?
This forum should know better than to underestimate Obama and those that advise him; the Media that carries his water;and all the other usual suspects in the Marxist
asylum.
No...I’ll wait til Nov.7 to decide whether rejoicing is in order.
Meantime...Si vis pacem, para bellum.

This is the first time anyone has challenged Obama’s BS, other than Univision 3+ years into his Presidency, beyond the token quesion from the media.
Up until now he has been given free reign to spew whatever nonsense and lies he wanted without answering to them.
At 0bama’s core he is a American hater.
Which he hides behind his BS and chronic smiling.
All the while creating policies that punishes America.

0bama said during last nights debate he wants to lower corporate taxes to 25%
This he said will simulate growth.
So, you have o wonder why didn’t he do that 3+ years ago???
