Even with his patent home boy smile, Biden came across as petulant, and callous to peoples pain.

I knew that Biden would over-compensate for his boss’s poor debate performance. I think Biden’s performance will boost the flagging spirits of leftists, but it will probably turn off a few independents at the same time. All-in-all, I don’t think the President gets any sort of bounce from this.

BTW, I hated the debate format...sitting and split screens. Why Republicans don’t insist on different debate rules is beyond me.

Fox said Biden got about 1-2 minutes more talking time. Same as last week with Obama.

I think Ryan was blindsided by Biden’s disrespectful attitude. In the beginning Ryan has that deer in the headlights look. He seemed like someone who was expecting something totally different than what he got.

It took him at least 30 minutes to comprehend what was happening, then he started to adjust and become more assertive while still remaining polite. By the end, Biden had mellowed a bit and Ryan got back on his game.

Per FOX the unofficial time count was just under 42 minutes for the jerk vs. just over 40 minutes for Ryan
