My wife was on another person's FaceBook page where that other lady, and several others, were complaining about the cost of capitalism. Since Amazon was charging sales tax in Arizona, the lady said she could not afford to buy books through them and she blamed capitalism. She went on to say that is why she would not vote for Romney because he was a capitalist.
tell her to order her books through the UK
she can pay value-added tax to the socialists and back up her principles with her actions
I blame IGNORANCE!
better yet tell her to call obamas WH and ask for a free copy of his books
Maybe obama will take a break from being a book selling, profit-seeking CAPITALIST and give away his books for free to socialist comrades

She was never a friend of capitalism. I’ve seen a lot of people as the election gets closer bring up some issue then say “...and that’s why I’m not voting for Romney” when in fact they’re really not voting for Romney because they almost never vote for a Republican, but want to believe that they’re “independent”
Socialists are counting on dumb and ignorant people like her to vote for them. Unfortunately so far no one has come up with any kind of medication to cure mentally challenged people.
I heard somewhere on the internets that Romney is going to tax books on the poor..and oh yeah,he is going to tax baby paicfiers but only for the poor.
Thats why I’m not voting for the other guy who is not Obama..I think its McCain?
If this ‘lady’ is your wife’s friend, she shouldn’t be. Nothing good will come of it.

When is a tax capitalism?....and let start using the proper term for what we believe...the free market
The ‘failures’ of capitalism are caused by Government intervention.
That is why I am so grateful for the awesome ladies of Free Republic! Without the knowledge that there are other thinking women in the world, I would be tempted to start an anti-suffrage movement myself!!!
Libs don’t like capitalism because it is the belief that people should be self-sufficient, and not be a nanny state.
People like entitler-in-chief obama have convinced them that the “evil rich” have hoarded all of the available money, and that they were somehow cheated out of their share.
This promotes the zero-sum-gain idea that there is a finite pile of money and the rich have most of it.
Whereas, Socialism is the use of other peoples’ money to gain power, pure and simple.
If I discover that one of my few friends on facebook is a liberal, I defriend them immediately. I have no use for brain-dead liberals wanting to take down my country.
They all hate the rich, but play the lottery every week trying to get rich. Go figure.
Taxes are a fact. Capitalism has had to learn to work within that knowledge, and is thus, part of it.
Unless you are willing to devolve the whole thing, it has to be dealt with in business.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for skirting taxes any way you can, legally - even in a questionable, defensible (in court) manner. That’s the beauty of capitalism; it finds the least cost, highest profit way around petty annoyances.
