Description An arbitrator has freed Michael Savage from his radio prison at Talk Radio Network, and he emerges working for Cumulus Radio, immediately after his close personal friend Mark Levin.
Freed from the TRN “minders” controlling what he says, look for a new and improved Savage to emerge - he is Free At Last!
Well, if there is a way to fire up the base ... of the RATs ... this will do it. Things are going just fine without this psycho on the air.
Tuesday ought to be a hot one!
who?
That is curious.
Looking at the stations listing, the show time is Midnight to 1:00 a.m. Some are most weeks days, but not all. Some are one day per week. A couple go from Midnight to 2:00 a.m.
That is NOT prime time.
Savage ‘owned’ the afternoon rush hours. Now, his gets Midnight to 1:00 or 2:00 a.m.
I think those are default times until the new ones get announced tomorrow.
I hope.

Sussman earlier came up with a name for the disorder caused by Obama.. irritable bowing syndrome
"I'll carry that for you, sir."
("A few years ago this guy would be carrying our bags...." Bill Clinton.)
Savage has bumped his friend Laura Ingraham (delayed) off KSFO.
Nope. Savage will be sitting in his studios broadcasting live at 6PM until 9PM PST. That equates to 7-10 MST, 8-11 CST, and 9-midnight EST. Syndicated airings will necessarily be later.
He is with Cumulus now. So is Mark Levin, who occupies Savage's earlier time slot, so The Savage Nation time slot will not be changing for the foreseeable future.
"Not So Merry Lou", "Spitebar", "Crankabye" etc. will need to find another talk show to announce they will be switching to (ad nauseam) each and every time Savage disappoints them...assuming Dynachrome hosts a daily thread.
Me, I've been listening to Levin every night. Although I like Mark, and he and Savage agree on nearly everything politically, I've missed the uniqueness that is Michael Savage. Strictly politics for three full hours every night doesn't provide the variety and humor I get from Michael.
While I don't think the name calling of other conservative talkers helps him (some of the names ARE funny), but I gladly overlook it for his bravery to say the bold faced truths out loud that the others will not say. I find his oversized ego, and the many other naked psychological imperfections hilarious, familiar, and most entertaining. He is flawed, just like all of us.
Welcome back, Michael Savage!
nice time to stick up for savage-is he paying you?
also nice to insult the people who have been posting to the savage thread for a long time.
savage used to talk (ad nauseum - in your words) about himself, reading from his books, his new yorker interview, and btw did I say about himself?
all that while doing 3 shows 2 hours a day
plus he is bashing romney at the absolutely most critical time in our country.
if you want to hear about jack hatfield and a few political comments sprinkled around his self aggrandizement - more power to you
Agreed! Tunein radio is far superior. It has a record function which is great in case you miss something and toucan rewind the feed. It’s basically a screw for ipHone.
I seriously hope the third hour is live and not filled with repeats you’ve heard so many times you nearly have them memorized.
I too am looking forward to Michael Savage live starting 12 hours from now. Absence, hearts grow fonder, ya know.
And I too hope that 3rd hour is live. No more recorded interviews, show excerpts, please! (Hopefully the new syndicator made an issue of that — I would have!)
And speaking of recordings, another site to use is http://dar.fm. If you’re not sure you’ll be by a radio during Doc’s new timeslot, try that!
No stations on Central Time?
That is very cool. I am giving it a try. Thanks!

This link has a list of some of the radio shows on the airwaves, but I aim to fix it up. When I tried, the other day, my browser crashed. My main goal is to clean up the shows listed, fix the time changes and add better links to players if needed. Also I have to add the shows missing off the list.
A big one is Roger Hedgecock. Also missing are Jay Severin who joined Glenn Beck’s streaming radio feed recently. Then it has Jesse Lee Peterson missing as well as other shows like Chris Plante, Imus, Peter Schiff and Mancow, who does politics on the show.
Takes time to do a list. But I will try again to do it when I find time. But this is the list I will base it off. So since it was created several months ago it is missing the recent lineup changes.
KLIF in Dallas is in central time that will run Savage. Just tune into any station stream with Savage at 8pm CT which in ET time is 9pm CT and west coast is 6pm PT
I should add that link is also missing all of the Fox News Radio lineup, Coast to Coast AM, Red Eye Radio, Alex Jones, and Janine Turner’s weekend show in Texas on KLIF among others. For example, Vicki Mckenna’s Wisconsin station,WISN, also has Mark Belling, who has filled in for Rush Limbaugh before, and Jay Weber.
Thanks for that!
All good information....
Only about one and a half hours to go!
What other stations are carrying him?
Just thought of another possibility.
That KSFO site has a 7-day archive section where their on-air broadcasts are kept. If Savage is recorded there, you can download it there.
After Mark Levin ends at 6:00PM, KSFO in SF has had the much despised John Batchelor on.
Tonight we got the equally despised Michael Savage!
Click! No more crap after 6:00 PM!
Nice to hear Dr. Savage on the air again, and at one of his old stations.
Call-in number: 1-855-400-7282.
What happened to “psychological nudity” and the rest of that intro?
Will there be podcasts of his previous shows so we can listen later at a more reasonable time instead of late at night like it is now?
Savage is pretty good.
I like his show.
.
Your characterizations of Savage's comments are flawed. Savage has repeatedly said that Romney is the one he's voting for while acknowledging that he is not the best we could have done.
He's missed numerous opportunities to enlighten the politically unaware of "fast & furious", the trillions of our dollars invested in green companies who contributed to Obama, and are all now bankrupt, having run with the money that taxpayers will be paying back for decades, Obama's belief that our constitution is outdated and flawed, Obam's fondness for redistribution of American wealth to the rest of the world, Obama's intentional collusion with the Muslim Brotherhood while they oppress the entire Arab crescent, and worst of all the willful allowance of the massacre in Libya and the easily provable coverup of what really happened. It is Romney who failed to bring these to light to the uninformed, not Savage.
Romney is nevertheless, far better than the unthinkable alternative. That kind of statement is not going to damage Romney in the eyes of those who can process a complete thought.
Yes, Savage has an ego. Anyone who believes they have something important to say and makes their living doing it will have an ego. Rush, Levin and the rest all have oversize egos.
You appear so down on Savage that the intellectually honest thing would be for you start hosting your own "Michael Savage Sucks" thread and stop being such a joy kill for those of us who enjoy Savage's perspective and might otherwise engage in conversation on Dynachrome's thread. But, when I peek in, there you are, every day, with the exact same complaints over and over and over again.
On the thread, you are, to me, a downer (not the only one, but the most consistently detrimental), a complainer without a solution, a bore, and it's very tiresome. Yes, it is "ad nauseam," referring to something that has been done or repeated so often that it has become annoying or tiresome. ORIGIN mid 18th cent.: Latin, literally to sickness.
If you so seldom have anything positive or more interesting to add, ask yourself, what in your own psyche is fulfilled by your exasperating "could be copied and pasted" put downs? Why do you so need to do that in relentless fashion?
If you hate Savage so much and can't have the compassion to understand that even an unusually vigorous 70 year old man cannot do as frequently what he once did at 55, why not move on to something you like, where you might even make a positive and uplifting contribution from time to time? Levin is what you yearn for. He is what you would expect a constitutional lawyer to be. He is consistent, constant, learned, and very necessary; but he lacks the quick, picturesque, humorous, and imaginative sunspots that can flare from the mind of Savage at any moment.
It's the difference between dossiers and high art.
Savage's occasional gold nuggets, so unique and rare, found amongst the silt and creek muck, when held up, shining in the sun, bring joy to the soul and make the whole endeavor well worth it. A pity you don't have the taste to appreciate them or the mental patience to sift for them.
No such luck, Q. He’s needing more time to meet all his book contracts, I would guess.
Yup, but it's chopped into hourly segments and I don't know how to thread them together into a solid block.
