Liberal friend of my wife brags about voting 3 times. What to do?
Vanity | 11/3/12 | Me

Posted on 11/03/2012 7:33:28 PM PDT by arista

My wife had some of her girlfriends over today when I was out of the house. Later, my wife told me that one of her liberal friend was bragging about how she is registered to vote at three addresses and regularly votes three times, including in the current election. She didn't say for who, but we all know she is a liberal.

We live in the SF Bay area. The friend in question moved here from New York a few years ago and is probably registered in NY, plus at two addresses here in Calif. The question is, what can or should I do?

I certainly don't want her votes cancelling out the votes of me and my wife. I could report her, but to whom? I'm not sure if I want to get her in any real trouble, maybe just scare her. The other issue is that my wife works with her, and I don't know if I would want that work relationship poisoned. What would you do?

You can do what is easy - or what is right.

Turn her in.

If you let this go you are aiding and abetting a criminal act. Please refer to THIS POST AND SUBSEQUENT COMMENTS from earlier today.

It is about a person admitting to voting four times in North Carolina. We got right on it and have sent all the details including the facebook comments to the North Carolina Attorney General.

You and your wife should be doing the same. Ask you wife what degree of crime admitted by a friend rises to the point of something she would not ignore. Theft, battery, murder...?

The Sheriff. It’s a felony offense.

I just reread your comment:
RE:"The other issue is that my wife works with her, and I don't know if I would want that work relationship poisoned."

I don't want to be overly blunt. But what does your wife think of working with someone who admittedly is lacking both morals and ethics, in turn poisoning their workplace?

What might this untrustworthy person be doing at work to damage their employer or other coworkers who trust her?

Thanks for the update on that! I didn't see that thread you posted but I did see that Facebook image and tried to search his profile in FB with no luck. You did good!

Definitely turn her in, and do it to multiple agencies. Have your wife turn her in as well. Multiple voting definitely warrants multiple investigations, hopefully multiple convictions and multiple sentences.

Treasonous, narcissistic libs deserve no less. Our nation deserves no less.

Hers is not a harmless cute victimless crime.

Exactly. Her crime is one of the most serious forms of fraud that can be committed. Not mere monetary fraud; it is a corruption of the American democratic process, and indeed at attack on the integrity of the Republic itself.

As a libertarian who believes strongly that crimes of force and fraud must be prosecuted in order establish Justice and ensure domestic tranquility, I would swear out a formal complaint with the appropriate law enforcement agency. Hopefully it will put an end to such stunts, at least by this individual. How Unamerican this woman is!

I lived in CA until a few months ago and I know a lot of libs that thought it was funny to commit voter fraud to get propositions passed ( usually public employee union issues )and for local candidates ( because they are the ones that give the public employees all the goodies). So it may not matter for the presidential vote but it may for raising your taxes and any other crazy unimaginable thing they come up with.

I moved back to Texas, couldn’t take it anymore. I’m native Californian and miss the beauty and the fine conservative people that are there but I refuse to live somewhere that I am a lesser being because I work and pay, pay, pay taxes but it’s never enough.

Our forefathers fought for our freedom, including the vote. Don’t betray them.

I would suggest not speaking with her or anyone else outside of law enforcement about it. Not the GOP, because they may have mistaken notions of reciprocity and not rocking the boat with the other party.

Go straight to law enforcement. If you don’t, you are aiding and abetting.

I certainly don't want her votes cancelling out the votes of me and my wife. I could report her, but to whom?

Post everything you have to social media.

I'm not sure if I want to get her in any real trouble, maybe just scare her.

Why? The bitch threatens your (and, more important, my) freedom. She must die!

The other issue is that my wife works with her, and I don't know if I would want that work relationship poisoned

That's more difficult. You need to engineer the information release to be credible yet not traceable. That can be difficult.

Report her anonymously (others here gave you good tips on how to do it). If she is truly stealing votes (which is what voting three times is!!) then she is a BAD PERSON and you really don’t have to worry about her further. And if she gets sent to the pokey for her actions, she won’t be at work with your wife anymore so you don’t have to worry about that.

And if you’re concerned that she might not get arrested ... but simply ticked off ... then think about this: She has probably bragged not only to you but to a bunch of other people as well. So all you have to do is act sympathetic and she’ll be sure it was someone else who dropped the dime. But what she is doing is WRONG and should be stopped. I think you already know that.

Turn her in.

Let’s hear her “Brag” then.

I’m tired of these libs breaking the law while we play by the rules and they get nut jobs like Obama elected and he drives the country into the shitter.

Does she work in media by chance?

Seriously, turn the bitch in.

I would do so without losing any sleep over it, especially if she is running around bragging about it.

No different if she was bragging about how she stole from a Department store.

Just goes to show how unhinged they are.

First, I'd like to point out that if she is a liberal, trying to 'just scare her' is pointless. That kind of fear only comes from having a conscious, and if they had one of those, well...they wouldn't be liberals.

-----

If you wish to pursue it anyway, my suggestion would be to contact the California Secretary of State. You should be able to get information from them without giving any of your own.

For instance, if they ask your name, just tell them your asking for information, not filing a formal complaint. If they ask for the individual's name, just tell them she's just an aqiantance and you don't know her full name.

They should have a procedure in place for instances like this. You just have to find out what they are.
