The polls are open on the east coast!!
From this morning's election day prayer thread:
"Heavenly Father may you forgive this nation and its people for the many awful sins that we have commited against you. We do not deserve the wonderful ways we have been blessed and please forgive us for our indifference,neglect and complacency towards you. May you forgive us who are members of your Church who have neglected our calling and commitment to you to be effective witnesses and stewards of the many blessings you have generously bestowed upon us. Many of us have cried out to you for the past few years as never before and we humbly beseech you to bring an overwhelming, crushing defeat on the forces of darkness in our nation. First we pray that you quicken your Church by your spirit and lead us to unity to stand against the onslaught of darkness upon us. May you smash every crooked deed as evil men and women try to hold onto power and may this be so convincing that everyone knows that your hand is in this. Then we may bring the light of your Gospel to our people who do not know you and to the nations of the world.
May you block and undo every policy and piece of legislation they have passed that is harmful to this nation. May you make every policy they make fail and may you turn the hearts of the multitudes against them. May you thwart every evil deed they try to divide this nation with. May you bring their own mischief upon them ten fold. May you punish those in our government who are lawless traitors and enemies of the Constitution by exposing them and deliver them into our hands for justice. However we also pray that through this that you open their eyes to the truth and in your mercy that you bring these people to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ to serve as a witness to many. May you also use this to bring revival across our nation and a restoration of a culture that glorifies You. We also pray for those just leaders in our government who are struggling against the lawless. We pray for your protection and that you embolden them to do what is right to triumph in the election and in the arena of ideas. May you also continue to open the hearts and minds of the American people to the the truth and draw them towards yourself to be renewed in repentance and spiritual rebirth.
And this we humbly ask in Jesus name. AMEN!"

Just got back from voting here in Dahlonega Ga.
A lot of RR signs as close as allowed to polling place.
Did see a Obummer sticker on a car but everyone around
here seems to be for Republicans.
Keeping my spirits up, I think we can turn this around
if the forces of negativity don’t cheat too much.
Look forward to following the happenings tonight.
Was supposed to go to deer camp this afternoon but will
wait till tomorrow so I can cheer with my fellow freepers.

As if Biden is gonna help get out the vote. Mostly all of their people voted already.
That may have been true once but Dan burned his bridges. I doubt he gets too many phone calls returned these days.
Dow up 140. Anticipating a Romney win???
Wife and I voted for Romney this morning in IA, no wait. A well staffed precinct that I have never had to wait before either, I was vote 187. I did find out my 75 year old disabled Mother in law voted for the first time in her life. She is dependent on the government and was pushed into voting by her gay rights daughter, she voted for Romney because my wife and I are “so good to her”. :)
Oh and my small prayer...
God of our fathers, known of old

Just got done voting straight ticket R, although I like to do the inidividual bubbles.... :)
I am in Cedar Falls, IA..small voting precinct. In 2010, I voted at 4 pm, and was ballot # 274. this morning, with polls open for 3.5 hours, I was ballot # 218. Much higher turnout today, thus far. The Repub vote will come out after 5 pm, when they get out of work.
For my wife and myself....two votes for freedom today!

Judge orders the pro-Obama mural in the Pennsylvania voting precinct covered up.
My daughter, grandson (1), and I got to the polling station at the Fairfax Government Center at about 7:15. The line was tremendous even then! I’ve never been in such a line to vote before in all the places I’ve lived. I asked several of the workers there watching and directing people if it was normally like this on election day, they both said no. Took my daughter and I three and a half hours to get through the line and done voting. The polling site had only 4 electronic and 6 paper ballot stations. The population here is huge! Even my polling site in JAX had 15. Baby grandson did well with the wait, but we had a baby who’d had enough by the time we left.
So they said on Fox that they will have a clue of how it’s going at6 pm but wont be able to talk till the polls start clossing at 7......we’ll have to read facial expressions I guess.....Uggggg so nervous!

Well if you want a clue, you should have watched MSNBC, total meltdown, begging people to voter and already claiming the theft of Ohio by voter fraud. They are scared witless over there.

DW and I voted in our precinct of 12,500 just outside of Tulsa at about 10:30. We were #267 & 268 which is a record for us. Lived here for over 10 years and never had to wait in line, until today. Everyone was very upbeat.

I’m just so excited today I can barely contain it.
I been all over the local yokel radio talks shows, dag I’m getting good at it.
I have been convinced for some time now that the administration KNOWS they’re going to lose by a landslide. I think they’ve done everything, used all the stops and pull, to keep it hidden.
It’s why the polls are showing it so close, daring the other side to tell it true. Rove, pantywaist that he is, falls for it and says “it’s going to close,” wipe sweat from brow, “it’s going to be super close.”
Dick Morris, who’s wrong more than I am, predicted a rout so this time he might be right, the stopped clock thing.
Barrone, a guy I really respect, too calls for a rout, and George Will of all folk, being of the throw-it-at-the-wall sort who has nothing to lose if wrong the has-been, but everything to win if right.
So ask me here, Pat Fish, where the truth shall come at you.

We’ve so much to learn from this election but I’ve taken up enough of your time.
