The polls are open on the east coast!!
From this morning's election day prayer thread:
"Heavenly Father may you forgive this nation and its people for the many awful sins that we have commited against you. We do not deserve the wonderful ways we have been blessed and please forgive us for our indifference,neglect and complacency towards you. May you forgive us who are members of your Church who have neglected our calling and commitment to you to be effective witnesses and stewards of the many blessings you have generously bestowed upon us. Many of us have cried out to you for the past few years as never before and we humbly beseech you to bring an overwhelming, crushing defeat on the forces of darkness in our nation. First we pray that you quicken your Church by your spirit and lead us to unity to stand against the onslaught of darkness upon us. May you smash every crooked deed as evil men and women try to hold onto power and may this be so convincing that everyone knows that your hand is in this. Then we may bring the light of your Gospel to our people who do not know you and to the nations of the world.
May you block and undo every policy and piece of legislation they have passed that is harmful to this nation. May you make every policy they make fail and may you turn the hearts of the multitudes against them. May you thwart every evil deed they try to divide this nation with. May you bring their own mischief upon them ten fold. May you punish those in our government who are lawless traitors and enemies of the Constitution by exposing them and deliver them into our hands for justice. However we also pray that through this that you open their eyes to the truth and in your mercy that you bring these people to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ to serve as a witness to many. May you also use this to bring revival across our nation and a restoration of a culture that glorifies You. We also pray for those just leaders in our government who are struggling against the lawless. We pray for your protection and that you embolden them to do what is right to triumph in the election and in the arena of ideas. May you also continue to open the hearts and minds of the American people to the the truth and draw them towards yourself to be renewed in repentance and spiritual rebirth.
And this we humbly ask in Jesus name. AMEN!"
NH is only Dixville Notch and Hart’s Location from midnight.

The NH polls close mostly at 7 pm so those numbers you see are strictly from Dixville Notch and some other place that opens and close at midnight. Maybe a couple of dozen votes or so total so pay no heed to that state for now.

YMMV ..... if the “somebody” who posted was down in the ‘comments’ section, well there have been a couple of Obozo trolls hanging out there lately. The commentators, especially Ed Morrissey are pretty good. I’ll be on FR 99% of the night & will sneak peeks at HA.
If PA doesn’t vote R this time around with all the coal bashing and “clinging to God and guns” then it is lost for good. Philly is jealous of Chicago.

Just returned from voting
My little CT town of 25,000 - polling place wasn’t too busy, but much more activity then normal and the lighter flow seemed constant. I asked the older gentleman who checked my ID how was the turnout and he said unbelievable. He said the biggest rush was right after they open from 6-8am. He said it was a madhouse.
Mr Kitty and I took that as a good omen as these voters have jobs and were up early - neither of which most democrats are.
Now, to watch the returns

W/ 70% in, Romney leads 50%-48% in Vigo County Indiana.
Vigo has voted for the winner in all but 2 elections going back to damn near Lincoln.
Alrighty then. Went to vote here on the Georgia coast around 2:30pm. No line but definitely a steady progression of voters coming and going, with all booths occupied. Pollworkers said it looked like our precinct would end up with over 75% voting if it kept up.
Again, thanks much for the wonderful, powerful prayer RKBA. We are, as always, in His hands.
