Mitt Romney has fewer votes than John McCain received in 2008! Republicans stayed home

Mitt Romney has fewer votes than John McCain received in 2008! Republicans stayed home!

As of right now, Romney has close to 56,000,000 votes nationwide. In 2008, John McCain had nearly 60,000,000 votes. (Per Wikipedia)

It looks like if all the people who voted for McCain turned out again and voted for Romney, we would have been rid of the Kenyan once and for all.

People stayed home.

It looks like all the Freepers who said they'd never vote for Mitt were not making idle threats

At about 12:45 last night I remembered the old movie where the fighter returns to his corner and his manager tells him, “OK, this next one is the round you go down in.”! How do YOU explain it? zero was losing Fla, Va, AND Ohio when all of a sudden they call it fo Zero AND QUIT SHOWING THE NUMBERS FROM THOSE STATES. Please, enlighten me. Why DID NO ONE say WTF?

Not sure about that line of less conservatives. True that socialists might have come out in force where it counted. Nit the country is conservative. I think Romney was just the wrong guy to get nominated. He was a flip flopper. The gop was a bit divided on him. Enough to get the division we had here that cause many Romney supports to get banned before he on the nomination. GOP has problems that lead to the tea parties. They are far from fixed.

Come on I was watching returns all night. Obama was steadily ahead in OH all night by a couple points. FL and VA went back and forth.

We need to accept the truth here. I am certainly open to believe a lying fraud president would cheat. But proof and evidence are needed or show me where the numbers are strange.

This was not a normal election. A lot of us thought that conservatives were smart enough to put petty political squabbles behind them and vote for the country, but I guess not.

I'm suggesting that pub votes were tossed or changed...

While I did vote absentee ballot this year, I've never trusted that my vote would be received and counted. How do you really know?

I discovered a link to our state's sec. of state where you can type in your name, DOB and zip code and it will tell you when your application was sent to you, when the ballot was sent and then if it was returned and recorded by your clerk's office. Mine was

However, I received an email from a friend who checked on his and his shows not received.......I don't know what to make of that

How many years did it take for the 100,00 votes Daly fabricated for JFK to come out? How many years did it take for LBJs rigged elections to come out? Do you have that kind of patience and/or time?

I work with white blue collar men here in Iowa. Most all of them hate Obama....but they seem to hate Romney too.

Yes that is true because I was fighting for candidates in the primary who were attacked in here by other supporters of different people. So we were not lock and step. Then everyone held grudges. And many could not bury it after the primary ended. I ought to know as I was strongly considering Virgil Goode until September. People have choices, but they don’t want to march conservatism down the field a few yards more, but want it all or nothing and sometimes it is not possible. The problem is Romney was a mess to figure out. Nominating him was not the answer. But once he was then it was time to follow him and many did not. I just wanted Obama out and some just wanted a conservative candidate with no chance.

PS. I was watching, too. The GOP (I can’t even refer to “our guy” by name) was steadily closing the gaps in Ohio and Fla. when they GAVE the election to zero. From 10% down at 35% of the vote in Ohio to within less than 1,000 votes at 74% (remember y=mx+b?) and the same in Fla. GOP down 20,000 votes with 10% STILL OUT and that was all panhandle. The GOP had it by a hair, maybe, but they had it. Then all of a sudden they call it for zero and QUIT SHOWING THE NUMBERS. You can buy it if you want but I don’t. Do you really believe all those folks identified as GOP voters on Monday decided they would vote zero on Tuesday? Really?

I personally don’t believe that many GOP leaning voters stayed home. I believe it is the demographic shift Pat Buchanan has been warning us about for years. It has finally kicked in and even sooner than he predicted. If trends continue, this country is finished, and may be already.

2008: 65,182,692 for Obama, and 57,212,032 for McCain.

2012: 58,857,426 for Obama, and 56,551,333 for Romney.

Even a McCain-like turnout would have lost the popular vote to Obama

I am sick to my stomach about this whole thing.

I voted in a predominantly democrat area, and the lines were small. I knew so many dems that are not enthused about Zero.

I am absolutely stunned at this result. I will however not stop fighting the good fight. I will defend my faith and my country.

I think it's open borders.

If it's true that the white birth rate is going down, while minority birth rates are going up, it's the open borders that's where the growth in votes is coming from.

It's probably not as much a shift from producers to takers, but an uncontrolled influx of new takers.

Why are the netwroks allowed to report ‘results’ 3 hours before the polls close in the Central, Mountain, and Pacific time zones???

I don’t think that should happen. It discourages some voters from going to the polls.

How many Romney votes were electronically recorded as Obama votes??? Too many incidents of such happening to make me at all comfortable.

Does anyone else find it very strange in an election that was supposed to be close that Obama heads back home to play basketball instead of campaigning like the other candidates have done in the past?

I am done being even the least bit politically correct, even with the possibility of getting banned or suspended here at FR. So here it goes.

I do not think there was a big “no show” among conservatives. I think most decided, like me and many other here, to take a big bite of that dung sandwich and vote once more for a RINO. There is just one major problem and that is demographics.

1] Our country is no longer a peaceful, freedom loving, individualistic society. The advent of technology and communications has seen to that. Cell phones and the personal computer have allowed us to have instantaneous access to both the good and bad in life. We are no longer islands that can be alone and untouchable. We have lost our individualism as a whole.

2] Minorities. The Negro population is just under 13%. Due to abortion and other factors they may not move much from that percentage but they vote as a monolithic entity. As a whole, they do not share the same values as the people who built and developed this country for the first two centuries. They do not like Caucasians and they transmit that feeling every day. We try to ignore that and say those that do are the outliers but that is not the case. They work as a monolithic group, much the same as the Muslims. We may find some who are ”moderate” but they never condemn the actions or words of the ”radicals” that spout racist jargon and swear to kill/enslave whitey.

3] South Of The Border Types (SOTBT). about 16 or 17% of the population (guessing) Hispanic is a made up word and I refuse to use it. These people are mostly raised in third world crap holes and what little education they have has been the repetitive mantra of how the United States has taken everything from the world by force and thus the need to get some back.

They have no clue as to real history nor their own failings as a society because the despots who run there countries will not let that be taught.

They come here as Socialists, or worse, to get jobs, but more importantly to get as much free stuff as they can take. Living 30 to a small rented house, great standards from the cardboard huts they had to live in down there, and getting most of their money under the table they can save a lot of cash that can be sent back to those third world dumps. They get amnesty, citizenship, and then can vote as another monolithic block to maintain all those freebies.

The bigger problem with these people is they procreate like rabbits. They will overwhelm the majority Caucasians in just another few years, and voting with the Negroes will ensure our fall into Communism.

4] Caucasian liberals. They have allowed us to become the disaster we have now by making all the unconstitutional policies that have allowed all the minorities to get the free stuff via the outright theft of our money via illegal taxes.

We have allowed these white liberals to come into being by letting the Communists take over our schools and our governments. That allowed the indoctrination of communist principles to our children and has now created enough of them to make the tipping point we saw last night.

5] Once the minorities gain control they will start to eliminate the majority. Just as in Africa, where minority tribes mass murdered majority tribes it can happen here. The New Black Panthers have a voiced and written policy condoning the outright murder of Caucasians, without so much as a peep from supposed main stream Negroes. LaRaza (sp?) also.

I will not spam FR with any more writings like this but as of last night this is my conclusion. I hope not to get banned as I love posting here now and then but the reality of the world must be seen.

I think this is important, and I think FoxNews will cover for the RINO Republican Establishment. Romney was a poor candidate, a Mormon, who would not draw enough of the Christian and Conservative vote as John McCain. Sadly, there will be cover from the RINO Establishment machine on this one...

Maybe we should stop listening to the folks demanding that we elect Romney because he’s electible and start listening to the folks who warned us about him in the first place.
