~Favorite Heart Song's ~
Joe Cocker - Unchain My Heart
Oh, Songwriters: OTIS/SANFORD Unchain my heart baby let me be Cause you don't care please set me free Unchain my heart Baby let me go Unchain my heart Cause you don't love me no more Every time I call you on the phone Some fella tells me your not at home Unchain my heart set me free Unchain my heart Baby let me be Unchain my heart Cause you don't care about me You got me sewed up like a pillow case But you let my love go to waist Unchain my heart set me free I'm under your spell Like a man in a trance You know darn well that I don't stand a chance Unchain my heart let me go my way Unchain my heart you worry me night and day I live a life of misery And you don't care a bag of beans for me Unchain my heart set me free Solo I'm under your spell Like a man in a trance You know darn well that I don't stand a chance Unchain my heart let me go my way Unchain my heart you worry me night and day I live a life of misery And you don't care a bag of beans for me Unchain my heart set me free

Blondie - Heart of Glass
Once I had a love and it was a gas Soon turned out had a heart of glass Seemed like the real thing, only to find Much of mistrust, love's gone behind Once I had a love and it was divine Soon found out I was losing my mind It seemed like the real thing but I was so blind Much of mistrust, love's gone behind In between What I find is pleasing and I'm feeling fine Love is so confusing there's no peace of mind If I fear I'm losing you it's just no good You teasing like you do Once I had a love and it was a gas Soon turned out had a heart of glass Seemed like the real thing, only to find Much of mistrust, love's gone behind Once I had a love and it was divine Soon found out I was losing my mind It seemed like the real thing but I was so blind Much of mistrust, love's gone behind Lost inside Adorable illusion and I cannot hide I'm the one you're using, please don't push me aside We could've made it cruising, yeah Yeah, riding high on love's true bluish light Once I had a love and it was a gas Soon turned out I had a heart of glass [radio version] Soon turned out to be a pain in the ass [album version] Seemed like the real thing only to find Much of mistrust, love's gone behind

Good morning, Everyone.
Good morning to our
Military, our Allies, and their families.
Thank you, fatima, for preparing the Canteen for todays activities.
Can't think of a "favorite."
I'll just check out the ones others picked.
The DC Metroland weather report
~ Today...Sun and clouds mixed.
High around 55F. Winds N at 5 to 10 mph.
~ Tonight...Mostly clear. Low 32F.
Winds N at 5 to 10 mph.
Okay, I know I sound like a broken record but
I really have to post and run.
Some leftover work from yesterday I need to get done,
especially since next week is a short week.
But, you stay right where you are.
Don't leave the room...I'll be bock!
Remember, the Canteen is
Come in and sit for a while.
There's always plenty of coffee, tea
pancakes, conversation, silliness,
and plain old BS

I have a student named “Quest”.
That’s what her mother named her. Not her choice! :-)

Thank You!
I have always admired Sting for the same reason I admired Paul McCartney. Both of them can play Bass and SING at the same time. (I can do this too, but it is very tricky!)
I loved the video you sent me, but was shocked to see Sting playing the strings with his THUMB! (Supposed to be the first two fingers of th Right Hand)
If a student of mine did that, I would have to correct him.
If not corrected early, it makes for a very bad habit later on. Oh Well.

Good morning fatima ((HUGS))
She’s a chubby 6 pounder, that’s for sure.
Congrat! Looks like you’re on the roll. hehe

Ha Ha...BUT here is a sentence in which “sting” is a noun:
“The sting of her rebuke never left his heart.”
There is another word (Anglo-Saxon origin, I believe) that can be used as a noun, a verb, an adjective, and adverb, a gerund, a expletive, a curse, and a sentence all by itself. (naughty)
To: left that other site
I have a student named Quest. Thats what her mother named her. Not her choice! :-)Never been able to understand why some parents stick their kids with unique and/or strange names that the kid has to live with...or get up the nerve to change it.
