I’d like to see what’s in Rimshot Joe Biden’s “Preparation H” fiscal cliff bill.

A question will all those who claimed that this tax cut bill was raising taxes be surprised when our taxes go up as a result of its defeat?
Any of them?
Did any of them believe what they were posting?

Huh...
Okay, now what?
Reid passes a bill through the senate to preserve the Bush tax cuts for $250k and below, and then dares the House to reject it? Is it too much to presume that Boehner would be as smart as Reid and simply never bring such a bill to the floor of the House?

If we already passed bills to cut spending and taxes, how is this bad?

From what I heard on Fox just now they couldn’t pass “plan b” because the reps would not go against their vow not to raise taxes.

What am I missing?

No matter what Boehner and the Republicans do, they will get all the blame for the damage to this economy and the markets from going off the cliff. Not even the slightest criticism will disturb the individual in the White House or his party.

These are dark times. Orwell would be in awe at the manipulation of reality here.

S&P’s have fallen out of bed. I guess jerking all those junior Tea Partiers out of committee roles wasn’t such a good idea, eh, Boehner...

Once again the Demonicrats have manuvered the Repellicans into yet another corner where they're "damned if they do and damned if they don't!"

Dammit!!!

The smartest thing the Repellican Party could do is adopt the Tea Party completely and help the Tea Party to refine and polish it's candidates into principled winners without the expensive consultant/lobbyist industry types. Candidates with focus, sincerity and disgression coupled with able expression will go far to restore the republic's respectability!!!

Put the "professional" Repellican to work raising money for a respectable, worthwhile series of winning campaigns that we conservatives don't turn on (against) at the drop of a hat!!!

Instead of constant bichin an gripin all the time, let's put together a series of bigger and bigger wins till our movement wins it all, once again!!!

We've got to wipe out these "Oh (BLEEP!) moments," once and for all time!!!

Even if the House voted it, Plan B was just political cover and could never become law.

Boehner’s problem is he has no personality and can’t win the PR war no matter what he does.

Boehner should have taken care of routine House business and then recessed after Thanksgiving.

Could this be enough to cause Boehner to be replaced as Speaker in the next Congress?

Nah. Pubbies won’t want to embarrass him, so they might grumble and growl, but they will reelect him.

I’m thinking a bunch of congressmen are realizing that they’re getting creamed with their own base.

What do you think?
