That picture of Tripathi in the Che Guevara shirt is going to send CNN into meltdown.

I'd say it was the state of Insanity.Ahhh...Massachusetts and, in particular Watertown. Take a look at my post (#41) from several months ago when a FReeper posed the question, "What is Life Like in Massachusetts? (Possible Vanity???)".

IF he is one of the culprits, and I don't think that is established yet. But even if he is, you know enough about the MSM to understand that this will not be emphasized, that a different narrative will be put forth. Group blame is ONLY assigned when a conservative is the culprit. That is Rule 1 of the MSM. And, as the Tucson shootings showed us, a conservative doesn't even have to be the culprit for conservatives to be blamed.

They just came on and said these ARE the two marathon bombers. One has been killed and “white cap” is still being pursued.

I forgot to add, news did not say his name was Sunil Tripathi. That came from people who heard it over the scanner.

McVeigh was an agnostic, lapsed Catholic, but to this day you see him described in message boards as a fundamentalist Christian.Likewise, McVeigh's Muslim connections in the Arab world are swept under the rug by the lamestream media and those message boards. There are a number of threads here on Free Republic that document those alliances of McVeigh and Nichols.

It appears we are dealing with a couple of left wing Marxists. Now isnt that something. Wonder how our fascist, socialist U.S. leftists will try to spin this one. How they will try to turn it into all the Republicans/right wingers/anti-abortionists/homophobes fault. And they will try.

I'm not even sure they follow any ideology yet. Like I said earlier, it seems more like a couple of lost, depressed souls. Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold loner-types who found each other. The one guy had left a suicide note when he disappeared on March 16. He had dropped out of Brown University.
They could be Jihadis, too. Don't know yet.

No, they do have an ideology. They are Marxists. Did you see the one guy was wearing a Che Guevera shirt? And he was an avowed Marxist.

I'm trying to imagine sitting huddled under my bed without a shotgun, like so many Watertown residents are.
That creep could take hostages and hold out for days.

It is still very confusing. On CNN, I saw one suspect (nude, for security reasons), entering a police car. I saw another suspect, clothed and unhurt, being detained by police. There are also reports that #1 was shot and is dead, and that #2 is still at large.

I still find that analysis to be compelling. They may or may not be "muzzies," but if they are foreigners, they might have found the US not to their liking, they may have found college life too demanding, and turned on the USA, more as "losers" than as typical jihadists. Keep in mind, they were NOT suicide bombers like the 9/11 culprits.

NOT BOTH....one is on the run.
