Terrifying dash-cam footage captures the moment a crazed motorist opened fire with an AK-47 rifle at police officers who had just pulled him over for a minor traffic violation in Middlefield, Ohio.

James Gilkerson, 42, exited his parked car and then fired 37 shots at the officers and their patrol car, the Cleveland Plain Dealer reported. Officers Erin Thomas and Brandon Savage returned fire, killing Gilkerson.

It’s all according to how much ballast you are carrying. Jesus makes for a “pretty even keel”.

But of course, with a .45, you don’t have to hit him multiple times to knock him off his feet.

If you can’t hit what you are shooting at perhaps in the wrong job.

I’m not a huge guy and don’t have any problem with a .45

I only had 1.

My wife and I have been married 42 years.

We lost my mother-in-law in March 2012. She lived with us for 1-1/2 years before she died. She did not walk for her last 3 years.

She was married 2 times and did not particularly trust men. In her 2nd marriage she got a real winner.

I never had an argument with my mother-in-law. She was always my friend.

I cared for both of my wife’s parents and have no regrets about any of that.

Lost my mother last August. Still have my father. He is 87 and pretty tough, but loss of my mom was an awful blow. They were married 66 years.

The words on your home page are well said and I do not disagree with your hermeneutics. However, your reply to my post is empty and void of any discerning value. Meanwhile, crawl back under the rock with the other copperheads that live there.

As for the Glocks, I would not own one, though it is choice of many LEO’s. That said, I know many who do not carry glocks because they do not like them. Or maybe it was the reference to ‘45’ vs ‘9mm’ you found offensive.

So be it, and anytime you want to put your SA mouth to the test, let me know. Just squirt your butt up I65/I71 or I75/I71 anytime your heart starts pumpin’ your adrenaline again. We can use a local LEO range (Sheriff’s)...I will be there with one half-empty mag and beat your butt. :)

Some years ago, I got some interesting trivia about the Anarchist Cookbook, author unknown.

The first edition is very different from subsequent editions, of which there are several. The main difference is that, without explanation, many of the chemical names used in the book were replaced with the slightly differently spelled German names of those chemicals.

The reason being that if someone shows up at a chemical wholesaler or retailer, and asks for certain chemicals with their German names, they immediately notify the FBI.

I think it is ludicrous to, in the name of PC, to put women in these situations.

Agreed.

"However, your reply to my post is empty and void of any discerning value." In other words, you haven't a clue other than putting holes in nice still paper targets, and you've trained yourself to 'shoot for center mass'. Good for you. Now run along.

This is not a caliber issue, it is an accuracy under stress issue, capacity issue. But your mental rut caught you in a claiber/gun model smarminess preventing you from discerning what the heck this IS about.

BTW, I have beavertail grips and multiple caliber barrels for both of my Glocks. The 1911 grip alignment suits my shooting better. When I'm merely putting holes in paper, I enjoy my 1911s, but when I'm practicing rapid firing in fast reaction I prefer to only have a trigger to pull, regardless of double or single action. That's why I will alternately carry a CZ82, or a Bersa 9mm UC Pro, or a Glock 19 or a Glock 22. And I always have one or two extra mags along. I also varey the ammo I load with, according to the weather (cold weather I carry more ball ammo, less hollow point) and location interaction anticipated. As to your silly 'challenge': Have Nice Day

"I am thinking “disturbed loner with no future”. His library is pretty impressive:

'Backyard Rocketry: Converting Model Rockets Into Explosive 'Missiles'
'Advanced Close-range Gun Fighting'
'Homemade Detonators: How To Make Them'
'The Poor Man’s Ray Gun (Deadly Rays)'
'Fighting Rifle, by Tactical Response'
'Ragnar’s Big Book of Homemade Weapons'
'Improvised Munitions Black Book, Vol. 1'
'Resistance to Tyranny'
'How to Build Military Grade Suppressors .22 through .50 BMG'
'Be Your Own Undertaker - How To Dispose of a Dead Body'
'The Ultimate Do It Yourself Primer Cookbook'
"

Thank you for bringing that up. Very interesting.

From "Middlefield police still wondering what caused gunman to target officers in March shooting (video, slideshow)" by Michael Sangiacomo in The Plain Dealer, "Stanko said he did not know if Gilkerson kept his weapons, ammunition and the books in his car all the time or if he had piled them all in that day."

Odd, though. Very odd that he had all of those publications in his car instead of at his home, and that he took them with him to do the crime and get himself killed.

Suicide by cop. If he had wanted to, he would have put 30 rounds right into the cops. He didn’t. He was firing around them to elicit his own death.
