John Bolton: Benghazi could bring down Obama administration
The Washington Times ^ | May 7, 2013 | Cheryl K. Chumley

The Benghazi scandal could be the final “hinge point” that brings down the Obama administration, former U.N. Ambassador John R. Bolton said.

“This could be the hinge point,” he said to Newsmax. “It’s that serious for them.”

John Bolton: Benghazi could bring down Obama administration Not if the Zero media has anything to do with it. They are well prepared to slam these hearing as noting but a GOP led witch hunt against their BLACK PRESIDENT.

The American media is our real enemy, not Al-Qaeda or the RAT party. IF AMERICA HAD A 4th ESTATE LIKE THE FOUNDERS ENVISIONED, THIS WHITE HUT CROOK WOULD NEVER HAVE BEEN GIVEN A 2nd TERM.

Amen to that.

That would have been a better strategy in 2012 than the campaign they ran which was "Obama's a nice guy, we all like him but we think he ought to retire" and "Obamacare is okay, it just needs to be fixed". What makes you think they'd do the obvious this time?

Don't worry, after learning from the campaigns of McCain and Romney, the GOP has finally settled to listening to its base -- that's right, they're going to push for a woman that's experienced in politics:
Olympia Snowe

Seriously though, do you really think that they'll ever again endorse a "hardcore 'conservative'"? If nothing else their actions in [not] opposing the sorts of overreaches we've seen the government take in the last decade or so is proof that they are complicit in the system that is grinding everything down.

Sulla, Cromwell, Franco, Suharto, Pinochet - it always ends the same way.

Add Hitler, Mao, Pol Pot, Stalin - and with the above cast of Leftists - you left out the HUGE swath of suffering, misery and death visited upon their own people BEFORE they met their end.

I just saw Bolton on FoxNews. He laid out the scope of what is important in this case without a word on CIA weapons transfers from Benghazi to Syria or Brennan’s secret war against AQ in Libya and Mali. Why is it that in a Congressional hearing about a terrorist attack, the role of the government in propitiating the motive for said attack is not to be addressed?

Sorry, propitiating = precipitating.

Three hours of sleep. Mea culpa.

I should have used the word ‘credo’ rather than ‘motto’ but thank you both for your support.

Bolton was right about many things during is time as UN ambassador, but he’s wrong about this. Nothing came of Fast & Furious. Nothing will come of this, either. It’s not so much due to the adoration of Obama by the MSM. They’ll look to provide cover for a Clinton return to the WH in 2016. They’re more concerned with “historic” elections than facts and competence.

If that pussy Romney had hammered on it, we likely wouldn’t be stuck with this turd in office right now.

It’s long past time to be “naming names “ but we’ll take it when we can get it. It’s the price of wearing the stars, bars and those super grade GS ratings. Big moment of truth for a whole bunch of people who know they should have talked a long time ago. And we will indeed know who is a weasel and who is a pro.

I agree with what you said, but would add something:

Whoever was responsible (for me all signposts point toward collusion between Obama, HClinton and Panetta) these liars attempted to do a 180-degree exculpation of Islamists, from appropriately placing blame (for which they had evidence and believers from the get-go) to attempting to vindicate them and give them a convenient motive (innocent until wrongfully provoked) for which an American was ostensibly responsible.

This is Obama's fingerprint, again and again, recently as he gave a speech in Mexico, blaming violence there on Americans and their guns (for which he and Holder bear the primary blame).

Obama's MO is repetitive: if evidence to his liking is not to be found, make it up out of whole cloth--but always blame America!

Zero's motives are clearly anti-American and impeachment has been deserved by these jackals so many times over!

Why is the Administration so desperate to suppress the survivors, and all information about Benghazi? Because supplying anti-aircraft missiles to Al Qaeda is EASILY UNDERSTOOD TREASON.

It all depends on the success of framing the situation 'correctly'. All that they have to do is point to the American history over the last century or so of interfering in other countries and installing people worse than the ones replaced. Not every time, of course, but often enough.

Look at Afghanistan, for instance. The Taliban had mostly eradicated opium production and institutionalized man on boy rape. Not saying that the Taliban should not have been tossed out, but why oh why aren't we a bit more choosy in the people we install?
