John Bolton: Benghazi could bring down Obama administration
The Washington Times ^ | May 7, 2013 | Cheryl K. Chumley

The Benghazi scandal could be the final “hinge point” that brings down the Obama administration, former U.N. Ambassador John R. Bolton said.

“This could be the hinge point,” he said to Newsmax. “It’s that serious for them.”

Sen. Ted Cruz asks these questions in a National Review piece:

“But many more questions remain. Here are a dozen:

Why was the State Department unwilling to provide the requested level of security to Benghazi?

Were there really no military assets available to provide relief during the seven hours of the attacks? If so, why not? During the attacks, were any military assets ordered to stand down?

If the chairman of the Joint Chiefs thought there was “no question” this was a coordinated terrorist attack, why did Ambassador Susan Rice, Secretary Clinton, and President Obama all tell the American people that the cause was a “spontaneous demonstration” about an Internet video?

Why did the State Department edit the intelligence talking points to delete the references to “Islamic extremists” and “al Qa’ida”?

Why did the FBI release pictures of militants taken the day of the attack only eight months after the fact? Why not immediately, as proved so effective in the Boston bombing?

Why have none of the survivors testified to Congress?

Why is the administration apparently unaware of the whistle-blowers who have been attempting to tell their stories? Is it true that these career civil servants have been threatened with retaliation?

Did President Obama sleep the night of September 11, 2012? Did Secretary Clinton?

When was President Obama told about the murder of our ambassador? About the murder of all four Americans? What did he do in response?

What role, if any, did the State Department’s own counterterrorism office play during the attacks and in their immediate aftermath?

Why was Secretary Clinton not interviewed for the ARB report?

And why, if all relevant questions were answered in the ARB report, has the State Department’s own inspector-general office opened a probe into the methods of that very report?”

"Did President Obama sleep the night of September 11, 2012? Did Secretary Clinton?"

And did they sleep together?

Now, try to get THAT picture out of your head ...

Doubt it

Forge Birth Certificate
Fast and Furious
1 month inaction to oil spill

And don't forget absolute negligence on dealing with the economy. No story there either.

The Republicans can run against Obama and Obamacare...

That would have been a better strategy in 2012 than the campaign they ran which was "Obama's a nice guy, we all like him but we think he ought to retire" and "Obamacare is okay, it just needs to be fixed". What makes you think they'd do the obvious this time?

I’m seeing that. Some of the kids, who are given room to think for themselves, are being creative about what they want to do for college; not interested in the brainwashing, and that, just from classmates. THey are not impressed with their peers.

All of this stuff is wearing on Bo. The gun thing, he thought he’d get that, and he’s in trouble for not having got that. He doesn’t know Americans. He’s pissed and depressed over that (gun deal).

This is a bump in the road fro him, but it’s a bumpy road.

H! I don’t know. about her. She’ll look to use this for face time, she and her supporters are of the “there’s no such thing as BAD publicity”.

One thing may well come out of this: The continued emergence of the new Republican party. And Trey Gowdy is joining. The more the merrier. He’s not a pretty boy. Good. Don’t need ‘em.

Listened to M Savage yesterday. HOW depressing. Enough with the woe is us. We’re in a much better position than we would have been with Romney. It would have been “we hate him even more than your “W” incessantly.

And HE sure wouldn’t be going after these people, nor would he even allow it.

But it was the Embassy! I’m taking it for what it is, a fact finding mission. Who cares if the BO supporters find out.

One more thing: Twitter and social media will overcome the alien media.

Keep an eye on that, over the course of the hearings, if publicity is important.

Will not happen. The media hasnt changed their mind and they’ll protect him. If he was snapping babies necks or drowning them in toilets, they’d cover for him.

We must do what General Washington did when faced with certain death and defeat... we must pray to GOD for forgiveness and support. We must thank him for our opportunities and then we must put on our big-boy britches and face the enemy and defeat him.

I think 0bama / Stevens were supplying Ghaddafi’s shoulder fired anti-aircraft missiles through Turkey to the “Rebels” in Syria who just happen to include a bunch of Al Qaeda.

That explains everything.

Why not allow any of our planes to flyover in support? Because Al Qaeda below you in Libya has MANPADS (anti-aircraft missiles) that WE SUPPLIED THEM.

Why is the Administration so desperate to suppress the survivors, and all information about Benghazi? Because supplying anti-aircraft missiles to Al Qaeda is EASILY UNDERSTOOD TREASON.

Yes and she was fired... and she was caught lying and cheating and violating the Constitution. She was hated by both sides.

The House won’t impeach until they quietly get the word that the Senate will convict.

Just like Bill Clinton, right?

Yes, the decisions to recall help during the attack led directly to the death of our people, the multiple Benghazi Lies that followed the episode, and the absence of Obama during the crisis, should logically lead to his expulsion from office.

But Mr. Bolton never met my grandmother, who would have patiently explained

If the world were run by logic,
men, not women, would ride sidesaddle."

"And no one will even entertain the thought."

With systems like FBI's ECHELON, and NSA data mining, who is going to go public on the Net?

The thoughts are out there. I should warn you, though, that the most rabid "Revolution Now!" types work for the Fibbies. It's always the way the Okhrana has functioned. (Google it.)

I take your point, but this is really starting to heat up. Today will be a very big day and if Issa mans up, this will expand the whole scandal.

There is a lot of toothpaste out of the tube already that can't be put back.

Never going to happen. Worst case, some lower level functionary will be offered up as a sacrifice.

Koolaid drinkers combined with apathetic citizens outnumber those who are concerned about the future of the country under this fascist-communist regime. Per a recent Kaiser poll, 42% of Americans are unaware that obamacare is now the law of the land.

Safe bet that Benghazi isn’t even a blip on the radar screen on the ship of fools who have managed to elect the most corrupt and destructive regime in American history and presently remain oblivious regarding the facts pertaining to an issue with a DIRECT effect on their own lives and health.

Without pressure from this same disengaged public, Benghazi will be briskly swept under the rug to join the other crimes and scandals perpetrated by the zer0 administration.

Praying I’m wrong.
