WASHINGTON – House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa today announced three witnesses who will appear at a full committee hearing, “Benghazi: Exposing Failure and Recognizing Courage,” on Wednesday, May 8, 2013, at 11:30 AM in 2154 Rayburn House Office Building.
“I applaud these individuals for answering our call to testify in front of the Committee. They have critical information about what occurred before, during, and after the Benghazi terrorist attacks that differs on key points from what Administration officials – including those on the Accountability Review Board – have portrayed,” said Issa. “Our committee has been contacted by numerous other individuals who have direct knowledge of the Benghazi terrorist attack, but are not yet prepared to testify. In many cases their principal reticence of appearing in public is their concern of retaliation at the hands of their respective employers. While we may yet add additional witnesses, this panel will certainly answer some questions and leave us with many new ones.”

In October 2012, the Oversight Committee held the first hearing on the Benghazi attacks, which exposed denials of security requests and forced the Administration to acknowledge that the attacks were not sparked by a protest of a YouTube video, contrary to claims made by Obama Administration officials.

They must refute the testimony as it is given ... to wait would cause damage to their messiah and their socialist cause. Hoping most of the American public isn’t paying attention is not enough ... this is too serious a matter.

YUP!exactly what I thought.
It convinces me that everytime I go out on a limb and fight for a return to the America that I grew up with and learned to love passionately, I'm not wasting my time.
If you look at the root of both events, Benghazi and the Ohio kidnappings, you see the similar corruption, evil agendas and lack of accountability of our government from the highest level to the city level.
Now, as I said before, I'm assuming that you as military have a very passionate interest in Benghazi and just lost yourself in it a moment. So, let's not waste time brother in attacking one another, but look at both episodes with the discerning eye of patriots who both fight everyday, each in their own way for the America we love. God bless you and the witnesses in this hearing!
It’s my understanding that he has submitted a near precise timeline, because he was on duty and he kept one.

I think that Issa and the staff learned a lot from the Fast and Furious hearings. This hearing has been carefully scripted for maximum effect. Thomspon voluntarily “stopped” before his time was up..now Issa is letting Hicks speak for as long as we wants..to tell it all...Hicks is very effective as a narrator..

Identity of (CIA) Annex Chief and greater detail might be classified...
The sanitized talking points say “within 25 minutes, the Annex responded” meaning that AT 25 minutes into the attack the Annex lifted the stand-down order preventing the Annex from responding.
This means, of course, that there was no reinforcement BEGUN until AFTER 25 minutes in which the consulate was overrun, set on fire and the Amb. and his aide were killed by smoke inhalation.
It appears that if the Annex had been IMMEDIATELY able to respond (not being held back 25 minutes) the Amb. and his aide might have been saved, as the Annex team of six was able to clear the consulate of 60 attackers when they eventually got there.
I am glad he knows the end result of the investigation already. That oughta save time.
