The Wall Street Journal ^ | June 13, 2013 | Nathalie Tadena

Ms. Palin became a national celebrity after her unsuccessful 2008 vice presidential turned into a media career as a paid Fox News contributor from January 2010 to January of this year. The Wall Street Journal reported in January that Ms. Palin wouldn't be renewing her contract with the cable news networking, citing a person familiar with the matter.

"I've had several conversations with Governor Palin in the past few weeks about her rejoining Fox News as a contributor," Mr. Ailes said Thursday. "I have great confidence in her and am pleased that she will once again add her commentary to our programming."

Ms. Palin will appear on Fox News Channel's daytime and primetime programming, starting with Fox & Friends on Monday. She will also contribute to Fox Business Network.....

Curious isn’t it.... we know where she stands on Big Gulps, but not on Marco Rubio’s Immigration Bill.

"She has Republicans asking her not to endorse them."

Link on the Republicans asking her not to endorse them? Because I probably post 60% of the Palin threads here and I've never heard that.

You’re full of it! You can have your opinion about Sarah not being Presidential material but nowhere has anybody suggested that Republicans don’t want her endorsement, heck alot of people desire her endorsement because its like gold in getting through the primaries

I would like to see all hands on deck in defeating the Immigration bill.

My personal opinion....

Then why don’t YOU call your representatives in Washington like WE did back in 2007 when we defeated it last time? We burned up their switchboard so that they had to replace it, so the story goes. Who are you to tell former Gov. Sarah Palin how to prioritize her time?

Has she called Snowden a traitor?

I don’t watch Fox anymore. They moved way too far to the left. And Megyn “Skip across the stage and twirl” Kelley makes me sick.

What I read during campaign season was that GOP candidates in blue or purple districts were avoiding Palin and any association with her. Now nobody's going to actually come out and say don't show up, because this will get the Palin supporters to vote against that guy. But the vibe is basically that Palin is toxic in certain districts and her support would actually undermine the GOP candidates running there because it would suppress GOP turnout while raising Democratic turnout. You could say that these districts are full of RINO's, and you would be right. But without RINO pols in RINO districts, we have no House majority.

Nobody was going to defeat the just assassinated JFK’s vice-president in 1964.

With 34 Senate seats and 176 Congressmen, just how well did you expect the Republicans to do during the national mourning of JFK in the 1964 election and in 1965 legislation?

The 1965 Immigration Act, as so much legislation after the assassination, was done in JFK’s memory, the democrats owned everything back then.

You go back to 1964 to make a case against conservatives, instead of going back to 1980, and you ignore the 2012 rino debacle where the only good GOP news came from Governor Palin.

“However, if there is one man who can take the most credit for the 1965 act, it is John F. Kennedy. Kennedy seems to have inherited the resentment his father Joseph felt as an outsider in Boston’s WASP aristocracy. He voted against the McCarran-Walter Act of 1952, and supported various refugee acts throughout the 1950s. In 1958 he wrote a book, A Nation of Immigrants, which attacked the quota system as illogical and without purpose, and the book served as Kennedy’s blueprint for immigration reform after he became president in 1960. In the summer of 1963, Kennedy sent Congress a proposal calling for the elimination of the national origins quota system. He wanted immigrants admitted on the basis of family reunification and needed skills, without regard to national origin. After his assassination in November, his brother Robert took up the cause of immigration reform, calling it JFK’s legacy. In the forward to a revised edition of A Nation of Immigrants, issued in 1964 to gain support for the new law, he wrote, “I know of no cause which President Kennedy championed more warmly than the improvement of our immigration policies.” Sold as a memorial to JFK, there was very little opposition to what became known as the Immigration Act of 1965.”

Yeah, I read the same thing about Palin endorsements. The thing is though, those articles came from organizations like The Daily Beast, WaPo, Salon, etc. and their predictions turned out to be wrong. For example, a 2010 Daily Beast article mentioned Nikki Haley, Kelly Ayotte, Michael Grimm, and John Gomez. Of the four, only John Gomez lost.

In 2012, Sarah Palin’s endorsement success rate was 75% where Karl Rove’s was 1%. No, that’s not a typo - one percent. When you read articles like that, examine the source and the motive.

Are there districts in which Palin’s endorsement is toxic? Sure, but we aren’t likely to win those seats anyway. In the end, Palin’s endorsement is a net positive. Suggesting otherwise is either wishful thinking by the left or intentionally misleading by the center-right squishes.

“Before we can make any sense of your ravings, we have to have some idea of what in the world you are raving about.

“Do you have anything specific that you disagree with?”

It wasn’t “before we can make any sense of my ravings”(speak for yourself, toots, it’s you only, not we), it’s that you can’t understand how ridiculous your Sarah fixation is. It has little to do with Palin and a lot to do with the way you present yourself about her.

It’s like an adolescent adoration you have for her that sours any points you might be trying to make. And it’s so obvious. I suggest you modify your approach when making comments regarding Palin, in other words, grow up and join the adults only community of Freepers.

That is two wordy adolescent posts from you on this thread, directed at an individual and expressing nothing but your personal feelings against him and his posting facts on Governor Palin, no challenge of facts, no politics, no specifics, just an adolescent expression of emotion.
