THE ZIMMERMAN PROSECUTION HAS A GIANT PROBLEM (see red text below) George Zimmerman....

"THE ZIMMERMAN PROSECUTION HAS A GIANT PROBLEM (see red text below) George Zimmerman re-enactment video with the police BEFORE he had a lawyer and right after the shooting": [I WILL BE IN FLORIDA on MONDAY in COURTROOM. OTR at 10pm will air live from Florida Monday night.]

First, as it stands now, (and ONLY my guess and it is early and much can change) do not expect George Zimmerman to take the witness stand (although he has a Constitutional right to do so if he wants to do so.)

This re-enactment video will help you understand the scene of the shooting according to George Zimmerman and is in his words. It is also a horrible video for the prosecution.

They have a bigger problem than that video — the indisputable TIMELINE that corroborates the vide:

The big problem is this gang banger attacked him and was smashing his head into the concrete. Many a victim has died from beatings without weapons.

The red letter edition:

If the prosecution does not present the video to the jury during the trial (and they won’t want to unless there are other videos out there in stark contrast to make this video look dishonest), here is what I would do as the defense lawyer for Zimmerman: I would make sure the police officer in the re-enactment video with Zimmerman was asked about it on the witness stand when called as a witness to discuss the investigation. By doing that, I would make sure the jury was aware that the video existed. I would specifically ask the officer (detective) if the re-enactment had been taped (and of course the answer is yes.) I would also ask if the prosecution / police have the tape (and the answer is yes.)

Then…in closing argument….assuming the prosecution had not shown the re-enactment video, I would, as Zimmerman’s lawyer, argue to the jury: ”why didn’t the prosecution show you this re-enactment tape in their possession…taken on the day after the shooting when Zimmerman did not yet have a lawyer? There is a reason and you Members of the Jury all know it….are they hiding something from you?”

That’s the finger of the last cracker she ate pointing to the cracker that got away.

Hate to say it, but DeeDee does not strike me as any dumber, more ignorant, or otherwise worse off than this super-clown lead prosecutor delarhumba. The two might get married after the trial.

Statement: "THE ZIMMERMAN PROSECUTION HAS A GIANT PROBLEM (see red text below) George Zimmerman...."

Response: True. In fact upon a motion properly made the case against Zimmerman should be dismissed. However, I sincerely believe Zimmerman for political reasons will be found guilty one way or the other. He will be sent to prison and placed with the general population.

Zimmerman says Trayvon was walking along inspecting houses... in the rain.

He was reportedly suspended from school for having some very suspicious jewelry in his locker, along with a "burglary tool."

I understand there had been some previous break-ins in that neighborhood.

I'm wondering how long Trayvon had been hanging around that neighborhood.

There's no way that anyone can be certain what the outcome will be.Why? Simple...we don't have the first clue who the jurors are, other than their gender and,IIRC,that one is Hispanic. We don't have a clue about their politics, their personal philosophy, their IQ,their susceptibility to coercion by those crying "racism" or "get ready for the riots" or knowing that GZ himself has had death threats.Remember OJ.Always remember OJ.That, too, was all about race...to the jury.

And also remember that if GZ happens to be acquitted (I'd bet against that) or if the state throws up its hands after a couple of hung juries (a distinct possibility IMO) Attorney Corporal Holder will have a crack at him.And *then* the words of Holder's boss will come into play...bigtime;"if *I* had a son..."

I've only been following this trial casually (not in-depth like many FReepers here).

So this may be a stupid question: Why are there only six jurors, not twelve?

I think Greta has some very good analysis there:

If the prosecution does not present the video to the jury during the trial (and they won’t want to unless there are other videos out there in stark contrast to make this video look dishonest), here is what I would do as the defense lawyer for Zimmerman: I would make sure the police officer in the re-enactment video with Zimmerman was asked about it on the witness stand when called as a witness to discuss the investigation.

Another thing that stands out is that when Zimmerman says, "Yes, sir," to the authorities, unlike Trayvon's friend Rachel, he means it.

When the police arrive and ask who shot Trayvon, Zimmerman says, "I did." He obediently lifts his hands so the officer can extract his firearm. He is completely cooperative with the police.

I think between all the evidence available, we have a pretty damn good picture of what happened.

It seems to me Traydmark™ got ticked off because he couldn't rob the house in peace, so he lost it and beat up Zimmerman.

There’s no way 12 people are going to judge Zimmerman guilty.

You’ll get some of them to do it, but Zimmerman is safe.

Then the White House will order a federal prosecution based on civil rights like they did the two officers in the Rodney King fiasco.

We live in bazaaro world...

Always weird when you have to think like a lawyer....but I’ve never seen this whole video before and I’d think they would want Zimmerman to take the stand just to be able to play it for the jury. Not only is it very credible but the injuries on the back of his head are very visible...who could see this and not believe it was self-defense?

He was reportedly suspended from school for having some very suspicious jewelry in his locker, along with a "burglary tool."

That's the report. But you can be damn sure that the state will try to keep that from the jury. And if they succeed the judge will surely state,in her final instruction,"you are to consider *only* the evidence that you've been presented in this courtroom. You must determine innocence or guilt on nothing else".Of course constitutional scholars, including the founders of the nation, have specifically stated otherwise but they won't learn that from *this* judge.

I understand there had been some previous break-ins in that neighborhood.

Yes,that was already made clear by the complex's "neighborhood watch coordinator".

He was looking to rob another house and he got ticked off that Zimmerman was preventing that, so he beat him up.
