A husband and wife canceled a news conference in which they had planned to talk about how George Zimmerman assisted them after their SUV flipped over on a Florida highway.
Mark and Dana Gerstle had planned to speak Wednesday afternoon at the Orlando law office of Zimmerman's attorney, Mark O'Mara.

In the current climate I don’t consider anyone like this a coward. Cmon, freepers have to be able to understand.
He’s got kids and a wife, that nobody else will protect. It falls on his shoulders and not talking is his first step to protect them.

Some certified-victim-group members who threatened the family?
I’m not sure I agree about the “cowards” comment. If your family was threatened as I’m sure theirs was, you may of done the same thing.
Rush just said on the radio that the family, based on all of the death threats issued against anyone involved on the pro-Zimmerman side, did not want to go public for fear that they too would be targeted by the loonies, and they are right; they would be. So they have backed out, although they say how much they appreciated Zimmerman’s help. They just don’t want to be targeted. They have kids. I don’t blame them.
I would not doubt that someone has been making threats to them already.
why even have a new conference in the first place?
Social media makes it easy for mobs to overwhelm targets and I would not doubt that they had enough info to go on already to start making threats.
I'm not buying this 'needs to protect my family' bit.
Someone got to them, imo.....perhaps even offered them money NOT to appear.

Seriously would you put yourself out in public on this issue. I’d maybe put myself out there but I sure wouldn’t endanger my wife or kids.

Not only are they in physical danger, but the other mob, the MSM, would dig into their lives and expose whatever skeletons they may (or may not) have.
I heard Rush say he did not see any U.S. media picking up on all the death threats. He was reading from the UK Daily Mail about the threats. A few days ago on CNN I heard Van Jones tell Newt that we whites have been predicting riots and all is calm. I sent Newt the article from WFTV with all the death threats Seminole county is investigating on social media. (400 per minute.) The left is sneaky in what they do.
Don't get me wrong, I have the greatest admiration for O'Mara and West. But for this car crash family to appear to be aligned with GZ's defense team is probably not the best move. They rightly fear for their family's safety.
We know that O'Mara and West are receiving death threats from the racist mobs too.
Does George Zimmerman have an official website?
