... Besides conservatives always look at things the wrong way!!! If you look at the Prez's statement propperly through the prizm of Democrat colored glasses and logic ...... You would realize that Mr. Obama, The Champion of the People, had enough compassion upon those poor down troddened small biz owners and refrained from taxing them 100% like he initially wanted to. So , in Democrat Fact Speak, he is giving them a 52% tax cut.
How now can anyone say that he is not a generous, sympathetic king and ruler of all that is good? All Hail the King!
It's probably the difference between chapter C corporations vs. chapter S, LLCs, sole proprietorships and partnerships. The problem is that if you organize your corporation as a chapter C, the corporation has to pay tax on the money and then the owners have to pay tax on any dividends distributed.

Other Peoples Money, they are out of it... The only way to get more is to Tax it, steal it, confiscate it, etc. and then when it’s gone they will go for the underlying assets, the land, the intellectual property, frankly whatever they can come up with as an excuse.
The end result is a barren wasteland, either figuratively or in reality.

40% federal taxes for small businesses? That’s JUST FEDERAL INCOME tax, right? How about the constellation of federal taxes other than income? Then add in all the state, county, and city taxes and licenses.
Since over 23,000,000 U.S. taxpayers are non-farm sole proprietors, that really means that these small businesses (many mom and pop operations) will be paying way over 40% of their income in taxes, probably closer to 60% or more, depending on location, etc.
At some point, it just doesn’t pay to work, as doctors already have found out.

This guy is a marxist. In the marxist world all the means of production and all property are in the control of the government. He wants that to happen. Problem is he can’t do it unless he calls it something else, then a brain dead public won’t notice.
He wants to make it so no one starts a business. Why bother when the feds want 40% of the profit, and the town wants its cut for your property, your machines (the means of production) and your stock.
Also, your state has its hand in your pocket and takes what it wants.

New York and other Democrat-controlled cities were mostly built-up at a time when taxes were were low. They enjoy all that infrastructure while others pay a tax on their labor to pay for the protection of these cities.
I really believe we need a national property tax to fund the military. City-owned property non-exempt. Central Park is worth more than $600 Billion! I don’t get to use it. Most of the country doesn’t get to use it. But all income earners are made to pay for its protection while residents of NYC get to use it essentially for free.
A fair tax charges each according to their consumption of government resources.
Instead we have a tax on labor that turns working people into serfs paying to maintain and protect the castles of Democrats that think they’re the new aristocracy.

Yes. All you need to ask is - “will govt revenues increase or decrease” as a result of this change. They say it will increase “revenues” (taxes). Just more BS
