The containers (like those pictured) are usually painted olive drab and are unmarked except for indistinguishable numbers/letters probably for inventory, routing, etc.
Reader Don sent this in recently:
Jim I passed a convoy of olive drab unmarked 40 foot tractor trailers each with four 10 yard ammo bunker boxes chained to them and unmarked armored Hum-Vees heading north on I-95 in Brevard County, Florida this past Thursday morning. The govt is positioning these ammo storage boxes, I have been told, in strategic places in population centers around the country. They are usually painted olive drab and are unmarked except for indistinguishable numbers/letters probably for inventory, routing, etc.
Obamas Homeland Security Department has purchased 1.4 billion rounds of ammunition that is not a typo during the last six months.
ATK is one company that won a contract with the Department of Homeland Security to provide 450 million rounds of .40 caliber ammunition in 2012.
Previously it was reported that people around the US have begun reporting the site of strange, new, heavily-armed FEMA fighting vehicles this past year.

The Boston incident should scare the hell out of all of us.
How many armed people work for Homeland security. Never mind we must break up DHS.
Let’s find them and take note...
Exactly.
What web site is that?
I wanna see them "FEMA fighting vehicles".
BS
Article is from January
I saw one of the Homeland Security cars with POLICE in big bold letters scrawled across the side... in the most distant part of west texas you could possibly find ...that caused a double take ....a national police force is just lovely
The DHS takeover of an entire city after the Boston bombing was just a dry run.. But they needed a GOOD reason to pull it off and the Boston bombing was undoubtedly ALLOWED TO HAPPEN FOR THAT VERY PURPOSE. Can’t just take over an entire city for no good reason, right?
I can’t say I disagree, and it was a HUGE success!
The people applauded it.
Bingo.
Someone with 300 dollars to spend needs to toss their flipping iphone 3,4,or 5 on the back of one of these trucks, and then track it using apples find my iphone app.

“ATK is one company that won a contract with the Department of Homeland Security to provide 450 million rounds of .40 caliber ammunition in 2012.”
It would be hilarious if ATK made half of these bullets to be a bunch of blanks, just like the ones howood uses in its movies. Phony bullets for barack phonybama.
Save
Not bs at all. I95 is the spot right off the Brunswick federal le center. Convoys of olive drab armored vehicles with cop syrens and lights occurs everyday.
This.....all that ammo is useless just sitting in some depot.
It needs to be liberated and used for appropriate purposes
by the people who paid for it.....the taxpayers.
I had a friend who was listening to police radio and apparently there WERE some holdouts who said, “You aren’t searching @#$%...I know my rights.” In one instance, there was a confrontation/kerfuffle... but basically people were told...”I’ll have my warrant in 5 minutes.”
Gee, I wonder if they have the usual forward American flag on the other side?
