More mayhem from the animals among us.
What’s the chance of that? It’s California.
That place is scary. It’s sort of an island of crime in the middle of a nice suburban community — right next to a busy freeway that goes through the crappy part of Sacramento.
Obama’s peeps?!
Wow, I’m shocked
Shocked, I tell you
Sashy sho’ look cute stickin’ out her tongue like Miley.
That's an ignorant comment. This crap happens in Walmart parking lots near bad neighborhoods all over the country.
You can always count on seeing a lot of ignorant comments on these kinds of threads.
One slap, one attempted beat-down to me and they’d have gotten a 45 ACP DRT slug in their gut from me.
I guessed right!
I guessed right!
I never go to Wal-Mart unarmed.
Consider the context of what I was replying to.
Elk Grove, CA:
Small cattle town to filthy, dangerous ghetto in just 2 decades.
Sacramento County, of which Elk Grove is a part, settled a lawsuit several years ago making the county effectively "shall issue". I don't know whether the present Sheriff is frustrating that settlement nor do I know how many have sought and received permits, but the chances of someone carrying in Sacramento County are probably much greater than in my county.
This 'shall issue' policy at the Sacramento Sheriff's Office turns out to be a tribunal vetting process (in person) where they toss your application out for anything they can dream up and only offer 300 unannounced 'interview request' slots every 3-6 months. If you're lucky enough to log onto their SSO website and get one of the slots before they disappear in 20 mins, you might have a slim chance of getting your CCW if the nice Sheriff's deputies can't find a way to deny your application.
This so-called 'shall issue' process sounds very much like trying to get a permit for a hunting rifle in Soviet-era East Germany.
So, back to the Elk Grove Wal-Mart beating: Slim to none on chances of a CCW carrier at the scene.
Once you assault someone you are no longer a “shoplifter” you are a violent robber.
