Yes, I absolutely would. I’d welcome the opportunity since I have no intention of voting for another RINO again.

Obama, Reid and Boehner have proven that it only takes 3 men to run the USA into the ground.

Boehner has been essential to Obama’s success, because Boehner has been deathly afraid of what The Media might say about him, if he ever actually did his job.

___________

We need Cruz to be the Majority Leader in the US Senate in 2014.

We need Col. Allen West to be the Speaker of the US House of Representatives, preferably by being voted in this year by the active House Members. (Members can chose anyone to be Speaker).

We need an Eisenhower-like Republican to be President whose ego will not be bruised as we carve down the virtually unlimited raw power of the POTUS.

Lee would be perfect as that kind of POTUS.

Palin is to far left for me in her anti-business words and deeds.

Palin is better than all Democrats, but not what America will need to recover from the GWB/Obama overspending Binge.

Palin wields a mean axe, so put her in Treasury where she can chop the damned IRS down to size.

A potential POTUS would be Senator Scott of SC. 15 years running a small business, speaks well, and seems to have the Eisenhower type of ego.

Defunding Obamacare will determine the level of Republican support of Republican Candidates in 2014.

Abolishing Obamacare, Democratcare or Republicancare will insure a landslide victory for the Republicans in the House and Senate, as the Senate democrats will lose too.

Failure to defund or abolish Obamacare will insure that The New Republican Party takes Cruz, Lee and a few others from the Senate. We will fight the Old-Style Surrender Republicans for control of the RNC in 2014-2016.

We have learned the hard way because we were taught by the masters of cowardice: the sorry, Surrender Republicans.

We learned how they played their ballgame of promise anything and then betray their own principles, as well as our trust.

We kept score: Dole, strike one; McCain, Strike 2; Romney, STRIKE THREE !

Now WE say: “BATTER UP !”

Show me an Independent and I will show you an American that is thoroughly disgusted with “both” major Political Parties.

Usually these Independents see little difference between the various Party candidates who end up on the ballot.

Last year 9 million “Independents” who voted for McCain in 2008 chose not to vote for Romneycare or Obamacare in 2012. Good for Obamacare, bad for Romneycare.

Welfare Democrats and Surrender Republicans create most of the disgusted Independents, some of them even vote by holding their nose if they are not to disgusted to vote - - - .

The last time the democratic party killed off a rival political party, the event was proceeded by a civil war. This isn’t something that happens casually. If it happens, I speculate that it will probably be the ugliest thing that any of us have ever seen.

This question reminds me of when Pres. Reagan switched to the Republican party, which was around the same time my parents did, and for the same reason, they didn’t leave the Dem party, the dems left them.

I’m rather disgusted with “Party”. Party has been willing to do what is best for Party and not what is best for country. I’m not interested in joining any party for now. Not even one headed up by Cruz.

Yes. As long as it isn’t just a subset of the GOP. That does NOT work.

I don’t think we have reach there yet, but soon. Once USD collapse, bond bubble burst. Let see what GOP will do then. If they continue on the same path as DEM, then we truly don’t have a two party system, thats when we should leave GOP and form a new party

Would you join the New American Party?

Put Sarah Palin for Prez, and Ted Cruz for veep and I'm on it like ... well, I can't post what I originally thought or the Admin Mods would have zotted Me (hint:some do knockout) so let's just say that such a duo would be such a knockout to the Dems if it ever came to pass that I might again begin to believe we are beginning to step away from the precipice.

The last time Reagan voted democrat for president was in 1948.

By 1952 Reagan was campaigning for Republicans as a “Democrat for Eisenhower”, he kept using that anti-liberal, conservative club until 1962.

In 1952 Reagan was campaigning for Republicans like Eisenhower who he campaigned for again in 1956, and then campaigned for Nixon against JFK in 1960, already having earned a reputation as an active speaker for conservatism for years.

Reagan formally registered Republican in 1962 and made a famous speech at the Goldwater convention in 1964.

Just put me in the White House. After the very quick RICO trial there will be a lot of familiar Democrat faces working on chain gangs for a long, long time. They’ll think that “Cool Hand Luke” had a walk in the park!

Yes. Though, the GOP has the same issue as the democrats.

A large majority of voters have no clue. They vote either R or D because that's the way they were raised and that's the way they are suppose to vote.

It's the reason that a lot of blue collar dems voted for Obama despite the fact that he's a communist progressive bent on "fundamentally changing" the America those blue collars support.

It's the same reason that a lot of steady republican voters don't realize that the vast majority of republicans congressmen are now simply democrat lite and are actively working against those that support smaller government.

You can lead a horse to water...

RE :”We need Cruz to be the Majority Leader in the US Senate in 2014. We need Col. Allen West to be the Speaker of the US House of Representatives,”

Great point.

The sad reality is, and I am lone voice calling out this obvious fact, that January 3 not one pure house conservative, not one pure House Tea party member, not even one House member, not even tiger hero Lou Gomert was willing to step up and challenge Boehner as Speaker when it came to that vote.
Too easy to sit back like a AM radio host and complain.

Rush will NEVER talk about this but I sure will keep on.

.> No one will take Boners job, call your favorite pet house hero and ask him to run against him as speaker, I dare you. He will never return the call.

Get on the phone and call your favorite House member to run as Speaker and tell us what he said,

Get someone to run against Bohner, its that simple.
52 posted on Tuesday, January 01, 2013 2:02:18 AM by sickoflibs

You should challenge them (your favorite house members) to oppose him as Speaker by running for it themselves now , this losing and then scape-goating whining stuff is long past old.
