I can understand how Jim might want to keep his personal business private. I’m glad he consented to let us know.
May our God, Who is a good God who loves mankind, undertake mightily to bring Jim to full health and send the peace that passes undertaking to him and his loved ones.
FATHER GOD,
Be with Jim as he undergoes surgery today. Bind any fear that he may have concerning the amputation of his leg. Let him feel the peace of GOD that passes understanding.
May HOLY SPIRIT touch him with the power of JESUS CHRIST, by WHOSE stripes were healed.
Guide the surgeons’ hands, and may Jim have renewed strength and a speedy recovery. Be with his family. Help them to be good caregivers and encouragers.
Bless Jim for his courage and his desire to see our nation remain “One nation under GOD with liberty and justice for all.”
In Jesus’ name we pray. AMEN.

Hey Jim,
Had my right leg amputated above the knee 4 years ago...Get through the surgery and recovery...get a C-Leg prosthetic and get back out here and give ‘em h*ll...It won’t stop you...you’ll just do what you always did, just a little slower...Power of positive thinking...
