Maybe they found out Boehner may have had a wild limo ride in Gurnee and Barry is using that as blackmail...oh wait. Or maybe Barry asked Boehner for the “Bill Frist Treatment” and Boehner complied....or not.

Oh yeah, that is exactly what will happen. I am sure Hairy Reid is salivating over being able to ruin another Christmas Eve with a vote for amnesty.

The Communists seem to really enjoy that. So they will draw out the immigration push in order to do that.

So we now essentially have a 1 part system. Well 2 parties officially, but if there is no pushback, how can one call them 2 separate parties with a straight face?

If voting made any difference, they wouldn’t let us do it. Mark Twain

Now you beltway GOP apologists OWN OBAMACARE. Enjoy your tar baby

How I wish that would happen but of course it won't. They have exempted themselves from the requirements of the "tar baby" healthcare bill.

(They of course loudly "demanded" that the exemption be removed, just as they loudly crow about their "commitment to de-fund" kenyancare yet, in the end, vote against themselves ... as well as against their constitutents, but only as an afterthought if they think about what they've done at all.)

Not surprised. But suddenly energized at the thought of the Tea Party becoming the REAL opposition party. And the GOP being consigned to a footnote in the history books.

If they allow cantor to continue on as speaker- the GOPe will live but the Republican party will suffer a slow painful death by suicide.
And both will lose.

The stock market is soaring, the Dow up 196 points and climbing.

Insiders know the deal is done. The easy money will continue to flow.

Look for the TP to become a living, breathing political party overtaking the GOP.

“Wonder what HE got in return?????”

A year’s worth of free tanning at the Congressional tanning salon. Plus 20 cases of Jack Daniels and 50 cartons of Marboros.

The GOP and Democrats will both be responsbile for the coming economic debacle.

The Tea Party will be in the cat bird seat as they warned of and tried to prevent this impending disaster. I think the Tea Party is in a good place right now.

No there is something different about this political fight. The glee with which the “conservative” media pundits are kicking conservatives today is quite revealing and disgusting. They are exposed as being conservative for pay much like straight guys who do gay porn. Corker & Co. will tone it down now that they have “won” but it’s a Pyrrhic victory. The careerist beltway GOP pigs have been exposed for all to see.

There is a lot to be said for not cutting your nose to spite your face wrt holding out for “pure” candidates.

Another one of those candidates that said all the right things to obtain Tea Party backing, but after her short tenure in DC I don’t see how one could confuse Martha Roby as a rock-ribbed Tea Partier.

Concur. Mesta Machine has posted same line of thought previously. It's the only thing that makes sense. (Is it possible that Ted Cruz is a man without secrets? One can only hope....)
