Perhaps, and I wouldn’t put it past the RATs to stick it in there just to gore him. That said, there were no loud protests pre-passage out of his mouth, were there? No suggestion that whatever the merits, it did not belong in a “clean” bill.

He’s crying, so a nerve was struck, which means he’s vulnerable. Meaning pure fodder for his opponent.

Matt Bevin has been handed a golden opportunity.
I can see the commercial: show McConnell’s locks and dams interspersed with pictures of people waiting for health care. Then show McConnell’s picture.
“If you like the destruction of your health care, thank Mitch McConnell for the Kentucky Kickback.” And then beat McConnell bloody with it.

Good grief, how did that 2+ billion dollar kickback get in that bill?

Ending obamacare is only a dream as long as congress, staffers, federal employees, judges, and the connected don't have to be in it or have a different subsidy scale than the public.
Make them eat their party grown peas, and make them pay the same for them as the rest.
Dream realized in 30 seconds.

"It's clear that Democrats are not gonna blink" on Obamacare, he said, although he promised to keep up the fight against the health law. "It's a disaster," he argued, pointing to the glitches in the healthcare.gov website. But ending it is an "impossible dream".
I'm sick to death of these doubletalkers.

Its not compromise, its corruption. He’s a poster boy for the GOP.
To: jimbo123
McConnell’s excuse is....
I agree with everyone (Republicans) but I couldn’t do anything about it because I don’t have any ideas about how to do anything about it so I have to keep going along with the destruction of the country and against my (supposed) principles because the people I agree with are wrong. And by the way, I got $2 billion dollars from the fed in this compromise to keep projects in my state going.
(BTW - It’s suppose to be incoherent and conflicting)

He hates the fact that he can’t get earmarks anymore especially since he’s up for reelection. But he finagled one anyway.
He barely won in 2008. He’s going to lose this time one way or the other. His mission now is to prevent a conservative from getting into the senate by winning his primary.

The best way to tell Midge McConnell to FO is to donate to Matt Bevin so we can get a real conservative in that Senate seat!
