JONATHAN GRUBER, M.I.T.: Lets start with understanding that we're not talking about the vast majority of Americans. This law is really leaving those with employer insurance, those with government insurance alone. Were talking about a small minority of Americans that buy insurance on their own through the individual market.
CHUCK TODD: Still millions of people.
GRUBER: Exactly. It's 12 million people, about a third of which will end up paying more under this law. And that as you said in the introductions sort of the idea. We currently have a highly discriminatory system where if youre sick, if youve been sick or [if] youre going to get sick, you cannot get health insurance.
The only way to end that discriminatory system is to bring everyone into the system and pay one fair price. That means that the genetic winners, the lottery winners who've been paying an artificially low price because of this discrimination now will have to pay more in return. And that, by my estimate, is about four million people. In return, we'll have a fixed system where over 30 million people will now for the first time be able to access fairly price and guaranteed health insurance.

As if diet and lifestyle didn’t play a part in health.
Genetic lottery -— maybe you were born poor because your parents made bad choices. Guess what? Kids of parents who make smart choices do better than kids of parents who make poor choices.
Sure.
“Julia! Your retirement plan is over there, by the ditch.”
At the heart of every liberal policy, ever, is a small child who didn’t get their way screaming “BUT IT’S NOT FAIR!!!”.
The ironic thing about Bergeron, I saw the movie with Sam Wise, was in order to make that society you needed an nomeklatura elite working behind the scenes to keep it going. But I think that was what Vonnegut was getting at.
Darwin: Survival of the fittest
Obama: Survival of the lamest
If I lop off an arm, do I qualify for disability checks?
Yet another liberal moron that uses a static model and will later be surprised at the unexpected outcomes of the policies that he advocates. People change jobs, become employed and unemployed, retire, graduate, and move around all the time. The effect of Obamacare is to prevent these natural movements because people will be afraid to switch jobs or retire and employers will be afraid to take on inexperienced employees. The other effect of Obamacare is that employers will start dropping their policies and send their employees to the exchanges.
So. If I read this right, this rocket scientist genius from M.I.T. says that disease and ill health are purely (he certainly ascribes it) genetically based, and that an extra-genetic solution like subsidization of health insurance costs is necessary?
Well sh!t...if one takes his assertion to the logical extreme, then it doesn't make a damned bit of difference in food intake, environment, lifestyle or whatever conditions - it is all about genetics.
Okay. So then, I can tell SGK f@ck off - it's genetics - you can't help. ACS, f@ck off - it's genetics - nothing you can do will help...and so on.
We know this isn't true, but the hutzpah bullsh!t some liberals go to goes beyond the pale. And, I am sure this dipsh!t said all this with a straight face. It is their inimitable way.
gruber will stand trial one day and that is a fact!
What a good little Communist this guy is.
Could be.
That's the way it is with a work of art -- many interpretations possible. Sometimes even the writer doesn't realize what he's saying. And what stays with the reader may be something wholly unexpected by the writer.
That's nothing but another shameless lie. The employer mandate was put off because it would have caused even more people to lose their current insurance plans, and many lose employer coverage altogether and be left to fend for themselves in the Obamacare exchanges. About 90% of the insured are insured through their employers.
The employer mandate would have caued a 2014 electoral disaster for the Dims (and a blessing for the nation), and that is precisely why it was put off for a year. And the individual mandate will cause electoral loses if the voters have any ability to understand and remember what's been happening the past few weeks.
The ongoing lies and deceptions and political cowardice has reached an all time high in the lifetimes of most Americans.

But in my syndrome voice
“When everyone is Super, no one will be.”
Genetic “Lottery Winners” Have Been Paying An “Artificially Low Price”
NO! You @$$!!!!
Those with the HIGH RISK LIFESTYLES have been paying “artificially low prices”!!!
It also means that those who consciously make healthy lifestyle choices i.e. loose weight, avoid drugs, avoid risky sexual behavior etc will subsidize gluttony, drug addiction and satyriasis.
The one with the Handicapper General?
so todays “fair price” under the Obama rigged system is higher than yesterday’s “fair price” that they were screaming was unfair and causing the need for Obamacare
and, let’s remind ourselves that someone earning $92k a year was NOT considered someone for whom obtaining health insurance was out of the question B4 Obamacare, but that is an income today in which an Obamacare premium can be subsidized
You mean like this?
