This article from 2 years ago offers some interesting comments and thoughts about how Obama differs from what I assumed was his book of political philosophy. It appears [to me] he may actually have taken his own course, or been steered astray by the likes of Davis, Wright and leftists on campus.

The article is wrong — they can’t seem to be able to distinguish between propaganda and reality.

What Alinsky says is not what he means, same with Obama.

Their real goal is destruction of capitalism.

LOL! Its not so below the surface as you might think. There are some FReepers, and I’m one of them, that are deathly tired of the false blue flag/red flag dichotomy perpetuated by the uniparty. When it comes down to it, the real choices we face are between oligarchy and liberty, fascism and freedom. Some who identify on the left wing are actually more friendly to conservatism than those in the gop wing of the uniparty. The key is in the discernment.
