OK, gang. We're seeing the railroading of Phil Robertson for the high crime of professing his faith in response to a direct question.
1. We need to overwhelm A&E with support for Phil. Here's the email I sent to feedback@aenetworks.com. . .
To whom it may concern:
Apparently, A&E Networks find it objectionable that Phil Robertson, when asked a direct question, gave a direct answer and referenced the teachings of his faith.
For his honesty, which, frankly, is one of the charms of "Duck Dynasty", you've decided to put Phil on hiatus.
Well, I've put A&E on hiatus. AND, I've also put buying products and services advertised on A&E on hiatus, and will be informing each and every one of your advertisers of the fact. I'm sure that Wal-Mart, amongst others, will be in touch about that. . .
You might remember the Chik-fil-A brouhaha, and how that worked out. . . .
2. We need to execute the "Rakolta Technique": that is, we need a list of advertisers and products advertised on A&E, and then contact each and every sponsor promising NOT to buy their products UNTIL Phil Robertson returned to "Duck Dynasty". . .

A&E doesn’t care. The people there fear man more than they fear God.
This is part of the sinful nature.
I encourage pressure, but don’t EXPECT success. Do it for other reasons.
Either that, or else Phil Robertson needs to run for a political office.
This is a formative moment. Our side needs to get off the sidelines and take over stuff.

I did number 1. On an earlier thread Freepers watched the Duck Dynasty show and posted a list of sponsors. Also some phone numbers were posted.
Keep in mind that A&E gets paid by the cable/dish/inet provider for their feed. Each one gives a set amount of money to A&E for each home they service; not by the number of viewers. Not tuning in to A&E doesn’t hurt them one bit.
Advertisers, on the other hand, do spend their money by the number of viewers (Arbitron & Neilsen). Letting the advertisers know that you won’t be wacthing and won’t be interested in buying their products can get things “moving”.
Can anyone create a list of advertisers and their contact info?

Phil isn’t technically gone. Season 4 is in the can and he’s in all those. Unless they cancel the show you’ll be seeing Phil next season I believe.

The homosexuality issue will be the one which clearly severs the masses into two camps. It will be one side standing by the Bible, and their faith, and the other side with the spirit of anti-Christ.
What next? Preachers who speak the truth being silenced? Will they be arrested for “hate” speech? Does Phil Robertson and anyone who agrees with him no longer enjoy freedom of religion? Very dangerous times we’re living in.

The ‘Rakolta’ technique is what you are fighting. Rakolta campaigned to get Married With Children off the air by boycotting the sponsors due to her inability to JUST CHANGE THE CHANNEL. We want Duck Dynasty IN IT’S ENTIRETY on the air. Rakolta stood for CENSORSHIP . . .she didn’t like the content and therefore NO ONE SHOULD BE ABLE TO WATCH IT. That is not how a free society works.
The best way to send a message to A&E is to NOT WATCH ANYTHING except Duck Dynasty on their channel. Support their advertisers and then target your campaign on contacting those sponsors to indicate your support for their helping Phil get back on the show. Sponsors of Duck Dynasty ALREADY know how their bread is buttered and what target audience they serve.
And let the normal emotional issues play out like they always do. Remember, Phil was ALREADY talking about this season being his last anyhow because he didn’t feel like appearing in it in the future.
No this is larger than just the Bible.
The left is stepping strongly into public censorship.
Strongly.
We need to fight back with everything.

I believe that Phil Robertson, educated and smart man, knew exactly what he was doing when he said those things about queers and I agree with everything he said and love the show. He also knew the s### storm his words would bring from the queer crowd and their liberal lap dog supporters.
He is also familar with what happened to Chic Fil A, when the owner of that business expressed his views on queers. Chic Fil A’s business exploded in sales.
Robertson may have had no ulterior motive for expressing his belief or alternatively he chose his words carefully. Either way, he is a smart and moral buisnessman and I support him 100%
I also look for his loving family to support him too.
As for the suggestion that they move their highly successful program to another net work, I’m sure that A&E was smart enough to provide provisions in their contract with the Robertsons to prevent that from happening.
I will continue to support them although not a duck hunter, I have no interest in their duck calls but have noticed that they have probably hundreds of other products they sell.
