Last night on 60 Minutes, we may finally have found a real hard-hitting interview. Well it may not have been that hard-hitting, but Susan Rice certainly did make a serious effort to dig a deep grave for herself.
In the interview, Lesley Stahl made an effort to press U.S. Ambassador to the UN, Susan Rice, on NSA tactics. After many have been wondering about Edward Snowdens future, Lesley asked Rice about how affective the NSA is and what their plans are for the future.
Lesley asked,
But when you have so many phone records being held, emails, heads of states phone conversations being listened in to, has it been worth our allies being upset? Has it been worth all the tech companies being upset? Has it been worth Americans feeling that their privacy has been invaded?
And the only thing that Susan Rice could say in response was that,
it's been worth what we've done to protect the United States. And the fact that we have not had a successful attack on our homeland since 9/11 should not be diminished. But that does not mean that everything we're doing as of the present ought to be done the same way in the future.
Privacy issues were not addressed properly! But Ms. Rice did have a chance to address issues within the NSA. Rice stated, There have been cases where they have inadvertently made false representations.
Susan was also asked about whether or not she has regrets about interviews following the Benghazi attacks. To that she said,
I dont have time to think about the false controversy, Rice said. In the midst of all of swirl about things like talking points, the administration has been working very, very hard across the globe to review our security of our embassies and our facilities. Thats what we ought to be focused on.
Well its about time! But yet, we still dont have any answers about what we can expect in the future and how our privacy will continue to be invaded by the government.
She should have stopped with “I don’t have time to think.”
Rice is a lying dirtbag. She tried to blame Benghazi on some YouTube video clip. Thankfully, intelligent Americans didn’t buy that crap.
Nobody got time for that.
“Rice is a lying dirtbag.”
Bingo!
What she really meant: “I don’t have time to keep my lies straight.”
"I don't have time to think about false controversy" - Susan Rice
Rice used the word “think”.
I do not think it means what she thinks it means.
Oops, used the word “think” within a statement about the bimbo.
Error, error............
It should have been abundantly clear that seeBS included that piece on 60 Minutes as a method to whitewash the Benghazi scandal, allowing Rice to rehabilitate her image and help the 0bama regime in the polls. The whole thing made me need an immediate dose of Immodium!
Personally, I think that woman is repulsive!
Rice is a liar, just like her boss.
I mean...as long as the guilty party was punished...oh wait...
Willing to lie for the big guy. Her reward will be a cushy high-paying job, after 0bama’s term, compliments of the democrat regime.
For Rice to imply that a Secretary of State, during those days, had been going through so much by meeting the bodies and the families, etc., that he/she was not strong enough to take on the task of facing the media is insulting to the intelligence of citizens, and a real slap at the strength and abilities of a woman who likely will seek the office of President.
She should have started by SHAVEING!
Eeeek!
She still lied even if she thinks like a democrat and leaving 4 americans behind to die is a non issue. It’s been proven she lied and she just brushes it off. Those are noble lies to the left.
If you've ever seen videos of her walking "That's a man, Baby!"
Yeah, I noticed her mustache was well,
I saw most of that interview. I did a lot of swearing at the TV.
Rice: “And the fact that we have not had a successful attack on our homeland since 9/11 should not be diminished.”
What about the Boston bombers, you stupid ****!?
After all the Russians all but gave them to us. Where was our vaunted NSA/DoHS on that?
I wasn’t too happy with Lesley Stahl, either. The intro to the segment included this, from her/the writers: “She [Susan Rice] got swept up in the dispute over who attacked the U.S. diplomatic post in Benghazi, Libya.”
No one really cares who attacked the post, other than they ought to be on the receiving end of a Hellfire drone strike. We know for certain they weren’t protestors upset over a video. The issue is why weren’t we expecting an attack, why we weren’t better prepared, and why did no one send in help for our beleaguered people? The blame for that last goes all the way up to the Sec’y of State (Clinton at the time) and POTUS. And as for Susan Rice, did she know she was lying when she went on the Sunday shows?
Sorry, 60 Minutes, crap journalism as usual from you.
Affirmative Action finds its way to the state department.
