Does anyone else get the impression that liberals are perpetually offended about everything?

Black History month is another way of saying “I Hate Whitey”. And this food fight is proof.

So, does that mean a Columbus Day meal of spaghetti and meatballs is racist?

Seeing that it is a DEEP BLUE state, AND that the teachers unions and educators are most likely all very liberal types, where is the ‘racism’ and ‘stereotyping’ coming from? Hmmmmmmm?......................

In earlier days that was a southern meal. In my growing up years, there was always cornbread for lunch and dinner and fried chicken was eaten frequently. We called meals breakfast, dinner, and supper.

Elizabeth Williams of the Contra Costa County Equal Opportunity Commission and a member of the NAACP had a different view. What is the big deal? Williams said. Historically and even now, we like our chicken and Im not going to stop eating my fried chicken, nor my cornbread, nor my watermelon. Lets move on. Lets be more progressive. Lets not be so insulted about something so minute, Williams said.
Good for her. She has the right attitude, at least..............

Well, they oughta be offended. that is redneck food, not soul food. Go to any Amvets, Moose, American Legion, VFW and you’ll find that is what they serve at their functions. Exception is Maryland, where steamed crabs are served along with cornbread, fried chicken, watermelon.

I’m a white guy who happens to like fried chicken, cornbread, and watermelon. Guess that makes me a racist.

fried chicken, cornbread and watermelon. Probably the best menu that school ever saw.
To: shove_it
Only in San Francisco would people get offended by a menu like that. Fried chicken, cornbread and watermelon = heaven.

Simple way to fix this. DONT KOW TOW TO THE BLACKS! No matter what you do you will offend them so dont even try to appease them.
Continue to serve the Mystery Meat meals as usual. When THEY whine, say that you DONT want to offend them! They will still be offended by it.
If they cry “REICIS”, tell them to bring their own lunch if they don’t like what is served!

This was a no-win situation. If they serve up the fried chicken, corn bread and watermelon, it’s racist, if they don’t serve up anything special, well that is racist too for “dissing” and not honoring black history month.
Time to tell these perpetually offended non-whites (they’re not minorities in California, whites are) to “shove-it”
(great handle, BTW).

what a bunch of stupid twits.
I’m white and I love that menu. If anything it’s stereotypical of the South more than anything. Hell, they missed the damned collard greens and black-eyed peas or is that African American-eyed peas???
