Pretty sad. I guess she didn’t know how to give CPR. 5 days suspension is an insult.

She has no business wearing a badge and a gun, Ortiz told WFOR. Somebody that wears a badge and gun takes an oath, and part of that oath on or off duty is to save lives and she didnt do it.
Yup. Looks like she froze in panic. Unfortunately, it's enshrined in law. There is no "duty to act." Contrary to popular belief, LEOs are not required to take action.

I think the cop was waiting for firefighter/em personnel to show up so he could choke and arrest him.
If he cop did try to help he might have gotten confused if the victim twitched. The cop might have yelled “resisting arrest”and then beat up the victim or shot him.
I do realize that not all cops are bad. But the public image will only get worse unless good cops take incompetence, cover-ups and criminal behavior in the police force seriously, and that means real sanctions and punishment. The rise of SWAT raids, the militarization of police, and acceptance of federal money is NOT a step in the right direction.

She was on the lookout for stray dogs to shoot.
To her credit, no one was bitten by a dog during the incident.

Worthless LEO...I guarantee that she froze because she did not know CPR or what to do. Must have been asleep during her medical aid classes.

I’m sure it’s just a job to her - not a calling. In fact, that mentality is responsible for a lot of what is wrong with law enforcement these days. And, it’s responsible for the anything to make it home safely tonight mindset. IMHO, of course.

Saving lives are not their priority any longer. At some point in time the focus of the policing agencies switched to enforcement, control, and punishment of the wayward civilians/slaves. With the consent of the Governed, the Governors changed their [the governed] from Citizens with Rights to civilians with State given privileges]. As the older members of these agencies retire, they are replaced by "professional" bureaucrats. Individuals with no guiding principles or morals, only with an unsuitable lust to control and exert power over others.
The slaves/civilians who sold their Citizen birthright for a bowl of Government soup [freebies] for the concept of being made to "feel secure" are just now beginning to reap the seeds they so gleefully sowed a few years ago. The harvest of those seeds will be both bountiful and bitter.

Ana’s at least a two pointer. Looked at one of the videos. She may be a 3 pointer on the affirmative action scale.

She didn’t check his vital signs because she did’t have a pair of latex gloves...!!!
Seriously how hard is it to check a persons pulse on their neck and not catch some disease....
Maybe I could understand if it was some crack to meth head....or he was covered in blood....

1.The officer was to busy looking for a dog to shoot.
2.The officer was racist and didn’t like Asians.
To: Jed Eckert
She was there to make the police look inclusive and multi-cultural, not competent or brave. What did you expect her to do?
I got into a wreck a few months ago because a female officer waved me into oncoming traffic. After the crash, she just stood around looking stupid much like this one did.
I asked her why she waved me into traffic and she said “you should have checked your mirrors”.

She's ready for a change of profession.
Beyond that, I have no judgments, only gratitude for those who do what most cannot and prayers for healing for the price they pay for it.
