Nitrogen Asphyxiation - painless, no mess, no fuss. Just strap the condemned to a chair, put on a breathing mask and a brain monitor. Flow 1.1 atmospheres of 99% pure nitrogen and wait for the brain waves to go flat.

I'm glad the perp finally got his due. But he sucked oxygen for ten more years after the foul deed than the poor little girl lived on earth.

Why does it take so damn long to flush this sewage?

For a crime that took place in 1989?? Oh, my. Why does justice take that long. Why? It is not justice if it takes that long to administer. Justice delayed is justice denied. Period.

What I’ve wondered for years is why we don’t use the same chemicals that Hermann Goering and Himler used to almost immediately snuff out their lives: cyanide. Ya’ put a capsule in the POS’s mouth, break it open, and kill the bastard.

What’s the big problem? It’s almost immediate, cheap, and quite effective.

All we’re doing is letting the libtards toy with the executions and drag law abiding citizens through court.

Personally, I’d love to just use a firing squad. Probably a lot cheaper.

What part of kidnapping, raping, and murdering an innocent little girl makes liberals look at this and want to save this evil man’s life? What part of total innocence makes liberals look at an unborn child and demand not just a right to murder the innocent but also that our money subsidize their attacks on the innocent? I don’t think it’s possible for decent people and progressives to compromise.

Federal courts and the governor had refused last-minute appeals from his attorneys, who argued that the execution drug purchased from a compounding pharmacy could have caused Taylor inhumane pain and suffering.

Who fricking cares about "inhumane pain and suffering" for an animal like that?

25 years is way too long. I saw a story recently about a man who blew up a United Airways plane in 1955 killing all aboard. He did it to kill his mother who was a passenger. The state of Colorado executed him 14 months after the crime was committed.

"...last-minute appeals from his attorneys, who argued that the execution drug purchased from a compounding pharmacy could have caused Taylor inhumane pain and suffering."

Hm, let's see:

A 15-year-old girl abducted, horrified, terrorized, sexually brutalized and killed over a period of at the very least an hour and probably days, robbing her of the tender love of a husband, children and grandchildren and being able to look after her parents in their old age, as compared to 15-30 minutes of "inhumane pain" to the one who inflicted this suffering on her and her family.

Such a dilemma, Your Honor!

Ann Harrison would be 40 years old today, probably going to her children’s baseball games and piano recitals. Maybe getting one of them ready for the High School Prom.

Michael Taylor was not, ever, going to amount to anything.

...could have caused Taylor inhumane pain and suffering.

Having worked in a big city ER for 20+ years I've seen more people die than I care to recall. The deaths were due to heart attacks, strokes, cancer, car accidents, drug ODs,suicides....and murder. In regard to the murder victims, these pig lawyers screaming "inhumane" don't have the first clue what "inhumane" looks like....sounds like...smells like.

I,and others,OTOH,*do* know. And being put quietly to sleep ain't it!

“He mouthed silent words to his parents”

I could administer the lethal dose to this cretin myself, but I can’t understand the parents being witnesses to his execution.

Every lawyer and judge involved in this delay of justice should be prosecuted for violation of the 6th amendment.

Article didn’t provide much info on Roderick Nunley and his sentence. Hopefully 2014 will be the year of justice to prevail in his case as well.
