I'll stay away from Longview for just $10,000. No checks.

I’ll gladly not attend for half that amount. I don’t want people to think of me as cheap but I can be had . . . for a price.

Only $16K? If they dislike him so much, they’d be willing to pay much more, methinks.

Well come on man, Ted supports the constitution, is for freedom and the individual, is an excellent role model for kids, teaches them the importance of confidence and being the best you can be, never drank nor smoked dope in his life, hates tyranny and other destroyers of freedom, kills for his own food rather than have someone do it for him, and he makes great music . I mean really, who would want that kind of guy around?

I thought Texas was in the USA, not Massachusetts or Albania. Maybe the Commies will get their wish and change the USA to USSA.

from the Miami Herald:

In January, Nugent called President Barack Obama a “subhuman mongrel.” The comments resurfaced when Nugent campaigned in February with Gary Abbott, who said he did not endorse such language.

Longview, XT (ex-Texas town), should try booking the Dixie Chicks if you can find’em... :)

If I were a business owner in Longview, maybe it’s time to start planning my re-location, bankruptcy, or early retirement. Maybe even a new city council in lieu of the above.

Donate it to the Texas Tea Party. That’s got to hurt!

I am so old I remember when Calfronia had a guy named Reagan as Governor.

Like Ca Tejas will be blue soon.

Millions of illegal Catholics have a way of changing the politics of a place.

I have a feeling Longview is going to regret this.

It’s actually standard practice, 50 percent deposit upfront. It exists for this very purpose, to prevent willful cancellations. The story is written more dramatically, but they have really forfeited their deposit by cancelling a lefitimate booking.

Everybody knows that the only reason to go to Longview is to visit the whores along both sides of Highway 80.

There aren’t any prohibitions on Ted Nugent impersonators showing up.

Longview used to be one of the most conservative of the Texas mid-sized cities: was already mostly Republicans by the 1960s. What happened?

The Nuge says bad words sometimes? No, really. The guy who wrote, among many others, “Wango Tango” and “Wang Dang Sweet...” (wait a minute, can we say that last word on FR?) says bad words sometimes? Who knew?
